INTRODUCTION
Personal development plan is defined as the most effective tool that has been utilized by
many learners, individuals and workers to improve their performances, enhance their
productivity, develop particular skills, knowledge and extent of talent. It is used to plan for a
several things, including career change, progress, moving into further success or to improve
skills. The current assignment will explain SWOT analysis, aim setting and personal objectives.
PART B
SWOT analysis including stages
Stage 1- Analysis -
Strengths-
My biggest strength is my writing skill, which made be able to communicate with other
people in written format. Just because it this strength, I am capable to write email and other
important documents by using laptop, and computer.
My another strength is that I am able to work in a team, which allow me to accomplish
my as well as other work on time. As I have team work skill that provide benefits to me while I
will perform as an employee in well-known organization.
In term of strength, I am able to take better decision and chose options that are accessible
in the world, which enable me to achieve my set smart aims & objectives. I have effective
decision making skill.
Weaknesses-
Along with strengths, I also had some weaknesses which unable me to obtain desire
outcomes. Lack of problem solving skill is one of my weaknesses that affect my work and
decrease my efficiency. Just because of this I had face many issues, especially when I take
initiative to perform in a team.
Lack of interpersonal skill, is my another weakness, which I need to improve by taking
appropriate action.

I am unable to work in a group of people, because I had lack of team working skill,
which I also need to learn and develop, just like above that is actually quite significant for me.
Opportunities-
Technology advancement is one of those opportunities, which I may grab in the context
of overcome my weaknesses. It made be able to obtain varied benefits in term of improving my
skills. With the help of advance technologies, I may learn many things which help in my future
growth.
Emerging methods like PDP, for skills development and improvement is another
chance, which I may grab to become a successfully learner and skilled worker in the future.
In recent time, in order to enhance the skills and competencies of individual person,
experience holder make arrangement of learning workshops, which is one of the best
opportunity that I may obtain and take benefit from it. It may help to improve those areas in
which I am lacking and need improvements.
Threats-
Emerging needs relate to different types of skills may possess threat for me, which affect
my current practices and activities. This factor put a lot of pressure on me as it drive my attention
toward taking initiative to overcome its negative impact.
Increasing competition between individual person also affect in same manner. In order
to grab current and further growth opportunities, each person attempts to enhance their skills and
knowledge, which directly or indirectly increase competitive level.
Stage 2- Setting aims
SMART is defined as an acronym that stands for specific, measurable, achievable,
realistic and timely (Sigalat-Signes and et.al., 2020). It considered as well developed tool that
individual person may utilize to plan and achieve their aims. This smart technique each person
may use to guide their aim setting in effective and systematic manner. It is used by following
five stages, which help to define goal, and time duration under which each aim may achieve.

An aim is described as an idea of desired and future results that a person envisions,
create and commit to achieve (Zhang and et.al., 2020). It may be considered as long term plan,
which individual attempts to achieve by taking varied initiatives, developing strategies,
conducting actions and practices, which is quite important to do so. There are several types of
approaches and techniques available in the world that anyone may use to achieve long term,
short and medium term aims. An aim is roughly similar to purpose and anticipated outcomes
which direct reaction.

made me capable to grow and get success in the future, which I will grab after
completing my graduation.
I want to buy a new house.
Long term objectives-
I want to become executive manager and this is one of my biggest and long term aim,
which I need to achieve.
Along with that, I want to travel whole world, which is my another long term goal that
will achieve after getting success and obtaining progress as an executive manager.
CONCLUSION
From above analysis, it has been concluded that by using personal development plan,
individual has improved their performance, which made them able to achieve their short,
medium and long term objectives, successfully and systematically.
