Personal and professional development may be well-defined as a strategic plan that is developed
in order to sharpen the skills, knowledge and abilities by which an individual can explore the
higher opportunities for growth and development (O’Leary and Sheedy, 2021). The strategies
which are involves in this assist the individuals to prepare themselves in attaining the future
goals. Hence, by formulating the improvement strategies individual can better perform the
responsibilities and accomplished the goals.

The short-term goals may be well-defined as those goals which need to be attain in short
span of time (Ehnberg and et. al., 2021). These goals not only assist in boosting the moral or
interest of the employees but also motivate them to participate in the different activities which
result in developing their personal as well as professional skills. The 3 short term examples are
