INTRODUCTION
Academic skills these are those type of skills which makes different experiences to be
developed over academic criteria that makes sustainability attained during its academic year.
Under this learning experience, study material with various strategic tool is been covered through
management. Under this skills and improvisation with studies is been read. Academic skills
make personal and professional development possible by making goals and objectives achieved.
Regarding this various experiences which is related to studies and professionalism is been
covered through enhancing knowledge with skills. In this report personal and professional
development plan is to be discussed. Also short term, mid term and long term goal is been
covered. In the end sources over evaluation over forming development plan is explained in the
end.
TASK One
a) Provide definition about both personal and professional development
Personal development plan means that plan which makes personality development
possible within common terms. In this steps and process is been followed over improvising upon
development of an individual.(Hong, 2021).
b) Describe about value of short -term goals and give three examples regarding it.
Short term goals are those goals which is having time period of 12 months. These goals
consider as those goals which makes aim to be fulfilled of an individual (Drogomyretska, Fox,
and Colbert, 2020).
Following are three personal example that has been given below:
 For attaining of some recognized certification over knowledge which is professional in
nature.
 For purchasing an new headphones from saving or salary.
 Also improvement of communication skills is been done for which public speaking is
required.
c) Discuss about medium-term goals with three personal examples of it.
Medium term goals are those goals which is there for maximum of three years and
minimum of one year. In this goals makes both personal with academic skills developed within

an individual (More and Srivastav, 2017).Things to consider while making medium term goals
are:
 Plaining of holiday trip in relation to go for long vacation.
 Getting house under name of own.
 Developing skills which is helpful in improving professional aspect for example
leadership skills and management skills.
d) Explain about long – term goals through three personal examples.
Long term goals are those goals that makes development of idea and skill which helps in
attaining success in more effective manner. Certain examples in relation to these goals which has
been explained as follows:
 It makes conflict to be managed through making issues and problems solved in
appropriate manner.
 This helps in developing of decision making mechanism through proper
management with accuracy.
 Leadership kills makes development over vision possible to keep motivation
factor alive within an organization.
e) Discuss about Personal Development Plan and form an example over identified goals
The personal development plan is been formed over skills and enhancement that makes
both personal and professional development possible. In this plan makes skills like
communication and leadership to be enhanced. (Sebake and Mukonza, 2020).

These four aspect affects over using of sources in order to define about reliability and
showing relevancy which has to be considered over doing study over topic that is been done.
4 aspects impact upon the use of a source as they tend to define if a source is reliable and
relevant to be considered while carrying out study on a topic. Irrelevant or non reliable sources
should not be used or they may give outdated results which may not hold meaning within the
current context (Baykara, 2018).
