INTRODUCTION
Professional development plan consider important process to determines and accomplish
goals with improve knowledge and capabilities. In this regard, I hope that as a financial manager
in the multinational corporation I will be working. Working in the multinational corporation
determines more effective and cross communication skills that followed to solve conflicts
(Tattum and Tattum, 2017). In addition to this, conflict management skills, financial reporting
ability, etc. In addition to this, there are different consideration also need to include such as data
analysis, cooperation spirit, time management ability, etc. As a financial manager, all these tools
need to implement in significant manner so that professional goals could be accomplish in
desired manner. It is the best way to complete financial work which help and improve course as
well. With the help of continuously development, program must be organise that assists to
increase different kinds of skills. It helps to make self-reflection on these skills and assess gap
between capabilities and skills. Furthermore, I make plan through effectiveness will be develop
which help to learn about career goals. In the structure of report, it has been seen that group tasks
must be taken with speaker program so that organisational visit to Barclays Bank ascertain in the
report. In addition to this, PDP plan consider conclusion of the report which help to understand
effectiveness of present reflection.
MAIN BODY
Group task
In the group task, I have analysis corporate social responsibility which take initiative in
the business and present with PPT which shown in appendix 1. In addition to this, in group tasks

to show reasons so that there was issue of dispute occur. I was also worried so that I require
support to realise that goals are essentially consistent which resulted in the different ways of

of different methods. Finally, most beneficial way has been chosen to accomplish goals.
Experience also helped me to realise importance to resolve conflicts and deal with it in timely
manner. In a company, finance manager is leader of department so that they bear responsibility
to identify and efficiently handle conflicts between team members. As results, it also assists to
guaranteeing to maintain team harmony. My own experience in conflict resolution in the group
task will greatly assist to accomplish career goals of future.
Along with this, team consisted among members from the different cultural background.
People belong from different cultural background so that they have different characteristics to
lead with communication barriers. In respect to avoid barriers and conflicts, I consider study on
cultural characteristics of the team members. For example, Chinese culture is high context of
culture perspective. Beside this, knowledge in mind that I communicated with Chinese members
with gestures, posture and voice. Financial manager have good cross cultural communication
skills which help to efficiently communicate with other department. Therefore, it is essential to
make budget timely with final accounts and daily accounting. I also need to improve my cross
cultural communication skills so that I am able to fulfil my career goals as soon as possible.
In the group task, I have improved my PPT making skills in effective manner. Therefore,
number of ways implemented to make effective results and outcomes in the enterprise. I also
look to communicate with take initiative program so that I will able to learn from the PPT
making skills and picture layout methods. In the method, I look towards mastered activities
which make me perfect to make PPT and it will increase praised with my other classmates to
consider clear logic. With the help of beautiful design, excellent PPT presentation skills develop
that assists to financial manager and produce clear initiative. Along with this, financial situation
consider for short period. I will continue to make improvement in my PPT and presentation skills
so that career goals will be accomplish in desired manner.
Speaker program
Further, we are honoured to take participation in guest speaker programme in March.
Speaker is David Tait who able to increase capabilities in risk management specialist in Athena
Risk Company. In his speech, it can be stated that David Tait consider hie views that companies
need to take positive attitude towards possible risks instead of view risk as an obstacle in
business development. On the other hand, Burnham, (2015)Burnham, (2015) stated that risk and
opportunities run together. When business get innovations, other opportunities also exist in it to

handle risks. After taking part in speaker program, I have realised that I need to learn to handle
risks with positive attitude. In the financial management, manager will inevitably encounter
variety of uncertainties which includes investment risk and credit risk. Positive attitude towards
risk assists to manager to stay with calm and properly handle risks as well. Hence, risk
management attitude consider usefulness in my career as the financial manager.
Along with this, speaker also need to showed importance of teamwork with personal
experience. When team members not unified goals with each has their own ideas, team will
unable to get cohesion. On the other hand, Burnham, (2015) stated that team composed
individual goals and objectives so that leaders plays important role in it. They take part to
encourage people and maintain harmonious as well. When team members give full play and
support, strength and work together will be develop successfully. Financial department also work
with whole team so that they are encouraged towards accomplish tasks and objectives as well.
Teamwork skills also help to learned and assists to make better future program. As results, it is
main duties of financial manager in the future to attain more desired and effective consideration.
Organisational visit
Selected organisation is Barclays Bank UK. In this group members consider their visiting
in the enterprise with using phone. The company has effective system of mature so that
outstanding performances will be develop to focus on desired goals and effective consideration
at workplace. In respect to visit the enterprise, it can be stated that skills and strong self
management activities help to attain proper work. In this regard, HR manager also
communicated to attaches great importance with increase efficiency and strictly follow rules and
time tabel as well. As per the point of Burnham, (2015), time management skills assists to create
individual balance as per time needs so that they need to implement proper time to all activities.
In order to make daily financial accounting and final accounts, manager need to assess time
requirement as well. They need to submit financial report on time so that it never create any
effect to take management decision making consideration. With the improvement of time
management skills in my own consideration, it can be stated that I am able to meet with
professional requirement so that I am able to meet with professional requirement for financial
manager.
Along with this, we are able to consider effective organisational structure in the company
where we visit. It create affect to operation model and management method in the company. For

instance, flat organisational structure create rapid changes with information that owing at number
of levels. With the help of flat structure, it can be stated that it conducive and give full play
attention with initiative and creativity (Beausaert, Segers and Grohnert, 2014). The chosen bank
has decentralised structure for local heads offices so that branches consider certain degree of
autonomy which based on local conditions. This organisational structure provide more targeted
services to customers so that it is benefited to adopt effective organisational structure that assists
to attain and empower employees consider appropriate functions which help to play pure
strengths.
Personal Development Plan (PDP)
With consideration of group task, speaker program and visit organisational audit, I can
also learn with lot of knowledge with improved lot skills. For instance, I acquire conflict
handling skills and improvement in cross culture communication skills and PPT making skills. I
have also learned with right attitude towards risk with teamwork skills. Importance of time
management skills also possess strength in the decentralised structure (Maguire and Blaylock,
2017). In respect to may career goals and current level of competence, I need to improve my
cross cultural communication skills with develop time management skills with data analysis
skills. It could be seen from Appendix 2.
In this way, first I created plan to improve my cross cultural communication skills.
Communication based on cooperation basis. With the help of outstanding communication skills,
better way communicate and cooperate consider with external customers who belong from
different cultural background. Internal employees of other department in my future work also
consider which help to read about wide range of books and articles about cultural differences.
Student association also join to increase communication programme with foreign students.
Gradually improvement in my skills also assists to develop understanding different culture and
communication skills (Armstrong, Kotler and Brennan, 2015). Therefore, I believe that
improvement in cross communication skills helps to make better and effective results with
proper cooperation. Therefore, stakeholders from different cultural background in my future
work also assists to focus on desired level.
Along with this, in second plan I spend around ten months which assist to develop my
data analysis skills. With the help of excellent data analysis skills, specific and accurate decisions
consider through assessment of historical data. Therefore, it will assist to make changes outside

the world and environment as well. In starting three months, learning and theoretical methods of
data analysis assists to focus on learning about more methods of data analysis (Tasker, 2015). In
respect to gain more effective skills with data analysis, Along with this, I also able to make plan
which help to improve time management skills at particular workplace. With the help of
effective time management professional able to increase their work efficiency in successful
manner. Other competencies are also obtained to record regular and daily activities so that plan
will be completed with different activities such as exercising and learning. I will also perform
every activity in accordance with timetable. As results, my own performances will be enhanced
successfully to establish incentives and punitive measurement as well. Financial manager not
only deals with leadership but also communicate with manager to make proper resources and
more scare as well (McGrath, 2014). With the help of improvement in time management skills, I
able to communicate properly to all my classmates. Hence, I will monitor my behaviour and
punish measures as well. Hence, improvement in time management skills better use of resources
consider with limited time in my future work.
CONCLUSION
In respect to carry the present report, I take plan in multinational business to develop
skills as financial manager. In this regard, I need to implement with effective skills of
communication, financial reporting capabilities, conflict management skills, data analysis
techniques, etc. All these elements helps to increase performances and outcomes in desired
manner. With the help of each activity, it can be stated that conflict management skills cultivated
to handle more significant performances at workplace. Therefore, I increase PPT making skills
which assists to develop different skills such as teamwork, proper attitude towards my work,
time management, etc. It assists to get closer to my career goals. Therefore, I planned about
developed PDP with improve cross culture communication skills with learning and
communication. Improvement in business for developing communication and learning skills.
With the help of different capabilities, I can perform better functions in easier for me to
undertake goals and objectives.
