INTRODUCTION
Personal Development Plans are also considered as individual development plans that are
very crucial for present as well as professional planning. Continuous personal development can
be best achieved only with the help of plan of action that includes all the details of aspirations
across several areas. With the help of personal development plans the learns are able to conduct
self explorations and simple disclosure. Learns are able to identify several stages of their
personality along with the personality. Learners are able to enhance their unique characteristics
and share their experiences with others. The main importance of the personal development and
planning is that it helps individual to accept one's personal strength and limitations and recognize
the importance of self knowledge as crucial tool for team building and character formations. This
report mainly emphasis about employment skills . This report is written on reflection basis in
order to analysis major strength and weakness as a business student. This report cover the areas
for development and avenues for improvement. It covers the personal development and planning

As a business student I need to effectively enhance my study skills as well as professional
skills to become competent to others. Being a business student I need to develop my soft skills
that will enhance my ability to interact and communicate positively with my subordinates or
team members. Moreover, to sustain well in any organisation for long time duration I need to
emphasis as well on my hard skills that mainly involves with the specific job oriented skills,
technical skills and academic skills etc. This hard skills are mainly measured by performance,
tests or quizzes (Bauer, 2010).Soft skills allows individual to work and share their thoughts with
others while hard skills allows individual to attain their specific targets by focussing on
accomplishment. Both soft and hard skills are required by the business student in order to work
effectively in the organisation along the retention. To identify personal strength and weakness it
is important to develop proper personal development plan to improve those areas that are
important and expected by employer to work effectively in the organisations.
