INTRODUCTION
Personal Development Planning is basically the process of creation of an action plan
which is based on the goal setting, awareness, planning, values and reflection for the personal
development within the context of a relationship, career, self improvement and much more. In
case of reflective Journals, these are basically the personal records of students' learning
experiences. When it comes to reflective journals, the students are basically asked by the
instructors to record learning related incidents. The present report basically involves a essay
based on the comparison and contrast of the presentation of information in two different types of
media today and also paying emphasis on how effectively the information could be
communicated. Moreover, the report involves the feedback on the essay and a reflection on the
learning and development during the programme.

Media is basically any channel of communication which basically comprises of anything
from printed paper to digital data and also comprises of educational content, art, news and
various other forms of information. In case of different types of media, it basically comprises of
Print Media such as Magazines and Newspapers and Broadcast Media which involves Radio and
TV. In reference to Newspapers, it is basically a major source of information for a large number
of readers which basically allows presentation of lengthy messages which could be easily read at
per the conveyance. Such type of media allows the prompt delivery of information and coverage
of news with interesting features for readers(Zwozdiak-Myers, 2018).
In reference to magazine, it is basically a specialized advertising media that generally
serves entertainment, educational and informational needs of industries, consumers and business.
Such type of media generally allows the presentation of detailed ad message along with colours,
photos and illustrations etc. In case of Broadcast Media, it comprises of Television which is a

principle source of entertainment and information for the individuals exposed to mass media.
Moreover, the broadcast media allows development of imaginative and creative ad messages in a
unique manner. In case of Radio, it is a premier mass medium for the advertisers and users. It is
considered to be one of the personal medium and offers flexibility, selectivity and cost efficiency
over other media (Capel and Lawrence, 2019).
In context to the revolution between mobile media sources and traditional media platform
to online have change greatly throughout the past decades. With the help of online media, it
helps in offering ability of accessing news and information ahead of traditional media. In
comparison in relation to traditional media, it can be basically described as the “one-way street”
where you receive information whereas in case of social media, it is generally a two-way street
which offers you the capability to share personal thoughts with every individual (Clandinin,
2019). Through online media, it has created so much ease for the access of entertainment and
information. The increase usage of internet have been constantly increasing the user capability's
amount to multitasking. Due to rapid growth in technology, the customers are finding it
relatively a necessity to own a mobile phone. In reference to the media, the main objective is to
basically convey an advertising message to the end consumers with the use of the most
appropriate media channel. In case of print media, it is used for the purpose to deliver
information to the public. In case of broadcasting media, it basically involves written content,
videos and audio which offers significant for the purpose to offer information which is
entertaining. In today's world, people are generally more relying on the internet for the purpose
to get the news a lot more often than traditional news sources (Gaybullaevna and Jonpulatovna,
2021).
Your reflection on the feedback you received on the essay
The feedback I received was on my essay which I wrote on different types of media
channels. As per the feedback I received, I found it very effective and it really helped me a lot in
identifying my strong and weak points. Through the received feedback, I realised that the my
communication skills and research skills are highly strong and I was able to provide justice to the

topic I received (Johnson and Stage, 2018). I was able to easily share my thoughts and ideas on
the topic and have shared a;; the information in a effective and efficient manner. I also realised
that I lack in my critical thinking skills and also my essay was more sort of a generic statements
rather than comparing it with a more practical situation. With the feedback received, it will help
me a lot in having better understanding about the necessity skills which I need in order to write a
essay in a effective and efficient manner. With the received feedback, it is basically designed for
the objective to help in identifying my own weakness and strengths in a piece of work. Also with
the support of feedback, it helps in improving my work through building positive comments and
using the critical ones for the purpose to inform about the changes in the future writing
(Dahmarde, Khodabakhshi and Rad, 2018).
A reflection on your learning and development during the Programme
In context to self evaluation, it is basically a necessary part of learning and development
for any individual. When I basically look at my self reflection or career path, I generally consider
how I would assess myself and what are my main weakness and strengths. Through doing this, I
could identify what I basically need to work on. It is also very important for me to consider the
new methods to work in a smart manner. Furthermore, I would consider what my skill set is and
identifying the skills gap (Jefferies, 2018). On my reflection, I identified that there is a need for
me to enhance the knowledge and also I have identified a training course that will help in doing
this. Lastly, I would ask myself about my issues that I am facing either in home or work that may
be influencing the impact on my performance and causing a dis tractive situation. Through facing
up the problem, I can find the different ways to resolve them and also asking for help if needed.

Through my personal development plan, I had made several initiatives through which I
can achieve certain objectives both in my social and academic life. In reference to personal
development plan, I have basically embarked more on the process that I believe would support
me to think about my own achievements, learning and performance as well as to plan my career
development, social, educational and personal plans. Since I made my PDP, there are few
changes that I have basically witnessed happening in my learning, career and social areas
(Nierra, 2019).
CONCLUSION
From the above report, it can be concluded that, personal development plan plays a very
important role in the company. Also with the support of a personal development, it helps in
ensuring success in both my social and academic life. Also the above essay helps in better
understanding about the comparison and contrast among the two different media channels and
