1) How do you regularly monitor your progress towards
meeting targets and your plans for the year?
I will regularly monitor the progress with respect to attaining targets. I
would set the long-term goal for the year. I would also develop the target
for per day. I would also specify the time period in order to accomplish the
goals. I will also set the resources in order to attain those targets.
Although, regularly monitoring of progress was complex for me but, it
helps me to effectively achieve the results. In order to assess the yearly
plan, I would use the 360 Degree performance appraisal method as it
would be beneficial for me to get information about myself such as
strengths and weaknesses. And, it would lead me to make an
improvement in my weaknesses (Smith, 2016). It was interesting to me as
it helps to gain a relevant idea about myself. In the future, it would be
effective in terms of attaining the results.
2) Give an example of how you have dealt with factors that have
affected your progress towards meeting your targets.
There are different factors that have affected me in progress with respect
to attaining the target. These factors are lack of technical skills, lack of
coordination as well as, lack of resources. These factors are challenging
for me in the attainment of the target. I would use different strategies in
order to deal with these factors and avoid it in the future. For example, I
would participate in the training and development program in order to
improve my technical skills. I would also utilize effective communication
technique in order to make an improvement in my coordination skills. This
skill is supportive for me in progressing towards meeting my target. I
would also make effective planning in order to optimum utilization of
resources (Morrissey, & Grant, 2017). This was supportive for me in
progressing with respect to meeting my target.
3) Give an example of how you have been flexible in changing
your plans in order to meet your targets.
I am flexible to change my plan in order to meet my target. For example, I
believe in change management that was supportive for me to easily
change my plan for the completion of my target. I have developed my
knowledge about the Kotler change management theory that was
beneficial for me to easily discuss with my tutor about change. As per this
theory, I would communicate with top authority at the workplace about
the changes (Mentari, & Saragih, 2018). Thus, it could be beneficial to
progress towards the target in the future.
4) Give an example of how you have used feedback from your
tutors to improve your performance.
I have used feedback from my tutors to enhance my performance. I will
send daily work report to my tutor and said to him for providing remarks
on my progress report. In this way, I will consider a positive response to
motivate for my work. I would also consider negative comment as the
