INTRODUCTION
Personal development plan refers to the process which assist in creating or developing an
action plan and it is depend on awareness, values, reflection as well as goal setting (Frich and et.
al., 2015). In each and every business entity, manager and employees have to make a plans for
personal development. These plans helps in improving knowledge along with the skills which
will aid in delivering products and services so that targets can be easily achieved. It also aid in
improving quality of life as well as contribution to the realization of aspirations. Personal
development is necessary as it assist in boosting skills so that success can be attain in job profiles

1. WELCOME PAGE
My name is XYZ. I am from UK. I have done my graduation as well as masters from
London University. I like travelling with my friends and have visited different spots with them. I
am also a music lover and like to keep records of different artists. I have represented my college
in basketball and achieved many medals. I have also participated at national level debate
competition and was runner up in the same.
2. GOALS AND AIMS
There are some goals and aims which I want to achieve in this year and these may be
short term and long term both. There are different areas in which I have to improve and develop,
such as academic, social as well as career aspirations. Some goals includes:
I have to do deep learning about the work.
I have to increase my confidence level along with the ability to speak in groups or teams.
I have to improve my problem solving skills as well as flexibility.
I have to develop my technology and listening skills.
Improvement or development in time management skills so that I can complete my work
in a set deadline.
Leadership skill as well as planning and organising skills is also to be developed so that
proper plans can be made to attain targets (Cottrell, 2015).

My main weakness is I get nervous while get interaction with senior
managers and also in a team. This will lose my confidence which
assist in reducing my work power and it will also reduce my quality
of work and this will I have to improve in specific time.

Another one is I cannot able to manage my time in complete task in
a specific deadline which will reduce my quality of work. I have to
make plan or time table and it should be follow so that they can
complete work on time.
20 days
My another weakness is management of work. I have to manage my
work and for for I have to improve my this skill. Along with this I
am not able to deliver training to staff members as I am not having a
time and professional knowledge so that I have to learn about my
work.
15 days
I have to improve my technology skills as I am not having proper
and appropriate technology skills. This can be done only when I get
guidance from senior manager.
20 days
3. PERSONAL/INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
These type of skills are included in a personal development plan which will help me in
expanding my knowledge (McPeck, 2016). Personal skills as well as transferable skill is a
important part of life so that I can improve and provide qualitative work this will assist me in
future. Personal skills includes distinctive aspects of improvement as well as development like
flexibility, self-confidence, discipline as well as assertiveness. These are helpful for me in
expanding my knowledge and also learning new things. I have to take more risk for doing
development or improvements. Other personal skills which I can use for improvement is
communication skills, technical competency, honesty, work ethic flexibility as well as ability to
do work in harmony with the co-workers. These skills help me in balancing my life so that I can
fulfil demands of other person on time so that targets can be achieved.
Another type of skill is Interpersonal skill which assist me in maintaining or building
relationship with the other persons who are working with them or in a team (Flin and Maran,
2015). There are different skills which includes emotional intelligence, self-awareness etc. These

are skills which assist in managing time as well as stress so that work should be done on
deadline. Interpersonal skills helps me in providing motivation to my team members so that
knowledge can increased and accomplish best results. These type of skills helps in improving my
listening skills along with working collaboration which will allow team in increasing
productivity. I have to show positive attitude in the difficult situations as it is important for me.
From these skills I have to learn workplace etiquette which is having a great way in attaining
goals and aims and improving my knowledge.
4. ACADEMIC SKILLS
For improving or developing academic skills, there are some skills which are included in
this so that I can do the improvement in my skills and this will assist in learning new things
which aid in expanding growth. Some skills includes:
Critical thinking skills This type of skill is very much essential in improving
academic as well as for future career also. This will help me
in doing proper thinking so that development can be done in
a proper manner.
Referencing skills This skills is also necessary in learning new and different
things. It aid me in attaining good grades while doing
academic work.
Numeracy skills It helps me in increasing or developing their practical skills.
Communication skills When I do better conversation then I can resolve any type of
problem. It includes various methods such as written, verbal
etc.
Technical skills It is just like as numeric ability and it assist me in improving
my career and academic pathways.
Creative skills I can use this skill in improving my academic career.
These are the skills which I can taken in use for my development as well as increasing
my learning and knowledge. This will assist me in resolving problems which occur in front of
me or my friends. It also aid me in doing better research along with the critical thinking which
will help me in improving my academic skills (Hardcastle and et. al., 2015).

skills among team members. Along with this I have developed by management skills and time
management skills. This will help me in delivering services in a better manner and also in a
specific time. For expanding growth, I can develop ideas which will helps me in developing
skills. In managing my time for delivering better work, I have to do more participation so that
targets can achieved. When I make plans for improvement then I have to proofread more
perfectly and if any mistake occur then I have to improve plan. For managing my work I have to
make plan that this much work should be done in appropriate time. I have to use updated
technology so that correct information can be delivered which will assist in improving
performance and productivity. For own learning they have to take responsibility so that they can
improve which will aid in attaining targets. While using plans and procedures I am become
successful in improving my confidence level as it will help me in giving different presentation
regarding work among team members. It also assist in improving my conversation level also and
on the basis of that I can interact with the other person. I have learn different things from the plan
and I can resolve any type of problem which occur in front of me which will aid in reaping goals
and objectives. For fulfilling my responsibilities, I have to follow instructions and also taking
better notes from various person.
