INTRODUCTION
Personal development relates to an objective, techniques, as well as results that are fixed
during learning process. This is a context where a person participates in the training programs
that allows to accomplish the aim that somehow a student wishes to meet. When one individual
wants to enhance and expand their abilities and skill to gain deep admiration and a good lifestyle
standard in community than they really are interested in the growth of their careers. The main
goal of producing this report is to significantly raise self interest in various areas which aims to
enhance my personal and professional growth. Here, in this report discussion about different
types of skills be done which has come across just because of working on the project related to
Jeff Bezos.
MAIN BODY
Reflective journal is all about discussion of own where person tries to identify
that how they can bring improvement in them and what are those activities which they consider
for performing any of the task. In the topic of Leadership style of Jeff Bezos, I got the
opportunity to work on different types of skills which can be helpful for me in attaining my goals
on specific time period. Here, I have involved myself in number of skills and activity which has
been discussed below in detail.
Communication skills-verbal and written
It is one of the most important skills for any of the individuals and in the same manner it
was equally important for me. I have some of the issues in communication skills as I am not
comfortable to communicate with unknown person and writing skills also carries some of the
grammatical issues. But, while working on the presentation of Jeff Bezos, I realised that both of
this skills are very important for me to perform any of the work. So, I started to communicate
with my seniors who can easily guide me to improve my communication skills. In the same time,
I worked for improving my written skills because that will simply allow me to perform better
through which large audience can be attracted.
Research skills
I am one of those student who never tries to show interest in research skills because lots
of similar form of data can be seen which increases the doubt. But, when I got the opportunity to

work within the project of Jeff Bezos who is one of the famous personality, it means that I felt
good to collect information about this great personality. Here, I started to work that how I can
collect more data and leadership skill which start to develop my interest towards research. It was
one of the reason that I have improved my research skills. This types of skills is the most
important skills while working within any of the organisation.
The use of ICTs
Information and communication technology is one of the most important skills because it
allows the person to improve number of skills such as system software skills, programming skills
and communication skills. At the time of this particular model, I got the opportunity to improve
my skills in the field of ICT where I have learned that how technology can help to complete any
of the task on specific time period. Also, it has allowed me to collect all of the necessary
information which can be beneficial for improving employability skills.
Team work
In any of the project work team work is very much important and I had got the
opportunity to improve my team work skills within this particular presentation. Working as a
team had allowed me to complete my presentation of time and even I got the opportunity share
my views and ideas which also allowed me to improve my communication skills. Overall team
work is very much important within employability skill.
Time and self management
It is essential for any of the person to understand that time and self-management are the most
important aspects within workplace. Here, I have seen that I am not good in managing time but
guidance of teacher where they told me to work without taking any of the stress. Also, while
working on the project, it is important to collect information at beginning which can easily allow
to manage time to complete specific work on specific time period.
Problem solving skills
Any of the person must have problem solving skill for having effective employability
skills. The way of working that Jeff Bezos has adopted where he tries to identify the main cause
of problem which is allowing him to resolve any of the problem. Even I got the idea that how I
can solve any of the problem without taking any of the stress where I used to face problem
before starting this respective project.

Gibbs Reflective cycle
Gibbs Reflective Cycle is among the most popular model which can be beneficial for
individual in improving their overall standard. The model was proposed by Graham Gibbs where
there are six different steps can be seen. In order to understand about the model, detail
description has been mentioned below.
Description – It is that particular stage where person works for identifying that what has
been done within the module. In is respective model I had been assigned the role where I had to
conduct proper research for finding out the leadership skill being used by Jeff Bezos. At the
same time, it was necessary for me to work in the area where due to which large audiences can
be attracted. It was one of those presentation where I have knowledge that different types of
skills will be necessary if I want to complete it on specific time period. Even number of problem
came across while performing this particular task.
Feeling- While discussing about the feeling, it can be easily said that it was among one of
the most crucial task for me where I got the chances to learn number of new things. But, there
were some of the situation where I thought that I must not continue because my classmates were
not ready to help me out. But, I can easily say that my seniors were the one who help me out to
work on this particular project. It simply allowed me to improve my confidence which is simply
helpful for individuals. There were no any moment where I have presented any sort of
presentation in present of large number of people but my teacher guided me and told me about
the importance of presenting the information in front of large audience. Overall, I had a great
feeling that I had improved my communication skills and speaking skills in front of large
audience.
Evaluation- It is the most important part within the project because it certainly allowed
me to identify about good and bad points that can be seen during the project. The positive side
relates with the support from senior for bringing improvement to my skill such as self-
management, time management and many more. The bad side of the presentation was that I am
among one of those person who lose their confidence in very short time period and that could
have created problem for me in attracting large number of audience.

Analyse – It is that particular stage, whole of the project is needed to be analysed. I can
easily say that while working in this respective project, I can easily say that I had faced number
of issues but at the same time support from the senior member allowed me to accomplish my
goals. Here, I got the opportunity to learn number of new things for resolving the problem. In
addition, I found the way that how I must present myself in front of large audience. Also, it is
said that any of the person can attain goals in that respective situation where help and support
can be obtained from senior members.
Conclusion – It is concluded by analysing that person can easily attain their goals if they
are able to take help and support from senior member who carries lots of experience. At the same
time, I must try to understand that every time mates will not be there to support you so person
must be able to perform their work of own.
Action plan – If in future I get the opportunity to work on similar types of project then I
would try to identify about my skills and knowledge and according to that I will try to perform
my task. Even whenever there will be the requirement of senior member then I will ask for their
help as well for dealing with any of the situation.
CONCLUSION
After having a detail analysis to the report, it can be easily said that any of the person should
be able to improve their standard and for that they should be able to work on their personal and
professional development. Continuous improvement programs allow individuals to work in the
area where they can easily allow themselves to improve their skills and knowledge which plays
significant role in current scenario. Gibbs reflective model is among one of the model which
simply allow to raise the standard because it gives idea that how any of the person can improve
their own skills in best possible manner.
