taught. Various examples of personal skills are motivation, adaptability and analyzing problems
with solutions to it. Management is another very important skill which can be defined as abilities
and managing capacity which should be held within an executive or managers for attaining goals
and objectives required to accomplish a task assigned to them. Such skills include
communication, teamwork, organizational management and planning of strategy. These skills are
there to create an powerful impact upon an organization. Also both the skills are required to be
developed and is essential to develop professionalism within an employee. M&S is a
multinational retail organization which is specific in selling of clothing, food and household
products of higher quality. In the following file two parts are given firat part deals with those
areas of leadership and management skills and also importance of personal development paln to
make leadership effective and management efficient. Second part is going to explain several
theory and use transferable skills by applying them in practices.

life of an individual because it helps in promoting positive communication and making his
