INTRODUCTION
Reflection means taking time for thinking, examine, review and contemplate for
increasing the part of self-awareness. Self-reflection deals in taking time to think about oneself,
meditate and evaluating so that serious thoughts can be given to the thoughts, behaviours,
attitudes, desires and motivations (Slepcevic-Zach and Stock, 2018). This report will shed light
on the key skills of the person and also evaluate the skills which are lacking in the person.
Various theories and models of reflection will be used to reflect on the person’s skills and the
ways to improve them. Furthermore, personal development plan and action plan will be
developed which will help in improving the existing skills and developing new skills.
MAIN BODY
Key skills developed for business
Communication skills help in achieving the business goals as well as helps in enhancing
the professional career of individuals. Good verbal and written communication skills are more
essential in order to deliver and understand information too quickly and accurately.
Communication has been defined as the process of understanding and sharing information from
one way to some other ways. Communication skills helped me in communicating with various
people, through which I come to know more about culture and that helped me for making my
business goals more ethical and developed. In running business, communication skills play
effective role in personal as well as professional development of the individuals. These skills
also helped me in obtaining support from senior management, finance teams, services teams and
marketing in business (Nisha and Rajasekaran, 2018). I realised that in order to communicate
effectively, it is must to listen efficiently as more we listen more we able to interact with fluency.
I have taken enough time for learning their skills almost 2 months and this time proved to be the
most beneficial time as I realized the importance of communication and the ways in which these
skills can be used to prove oneself.

Team working skills are also considered as the most important skills through which I
have taken great advantage in decision-making and also allowed team members for using the
same in achieving the team goals. Working efficiently in team also enhanced my communication
skills. For example, my leader in organization gave me one report and I had to complete that
within the decided timeframe. During the whole process of completing the tasks, I realized that
communication skills also helps in interacting with the team members thereby making use of
team working skills (Ellis, 2020).
Problem-solving skills are also equally important as these help in solving various critical
problems and issues. I also faced various problems in my career and job where I realized that I
need to develop and enhance my problem solving skills which can make me more confident.
(Khan And et.al., 2017). I realized that problem solving skills also helps in making innovative
strategies which can help in achieving career as well as business goals. I need to work upon my
problem solving skills by taking online sessions or confronting different problems.
Time management, accountability and responsibilities are all equally important in every
one’s life. Managing the time becomes challenge for many people as most of the tasks need to be
completed in time and deadline. Time management play important role for being more developed
and helps in making the best use of available time (Dindar, 2018). I realized that I need to
develop my time management skills as sometimes I become unable to complete many tasks
within the deadline and timeframe.

Concrete experience:
This is the stage in which a new situation is encountered or existing experience is
reinterpreted. I realized during the learning of skills that the skills such as communication, time
management, problem solving etc. play the most important role in the professional as well as
personal life. According to this, the reflective observation can be made.
Reflective observation:-
This reflective observation helped me in my various projects to implement the skills
which were learned through various sources (Shchetynina and et.al., 2019). While at time of
preparing projects I have utilised various skills such managing time, communication skills and
scheduling work on time as per given deadlines.
Abstract Conceptualization:-
This reflection gives basically rights to have some new ideas or do some modification
and concluding about my learning experience along with developing more new things which
might also help in developing some more projects (McLeod, 2017). I would learn more new
things and take more experience about my projects and think about managing work with some
strategies.

Active experimentation:-
Through this I have learned about the things which I faced in doing the projects. At time
of completing projects I have noticed many things such as how other people are managing their
time and taking lesser time in doing work, and they usually follow-up Smart work in projects
(Watson And et.al., 2019). This is how, this model will help me in improving my skills as well as
improving the tasks which I will perform in the future.
Gibbs reflective model
Description:-
While at time of preparing the projects I have faced many situations and from that
situation I have experienced too many things. Actually at first, I was confused that how I will
manage my work and this fear impacted my behaviour at the time of project submission. My
group helped me a lot in managing my work, and they have cancelled their evening program just
because of handling my projects (Villanueva, 2020). I have learned about the ways in which I
can manage the work on time and preparing time for each and everything in projects which was
the most important for me.

I have observed that I can easily complete my work by not thinking a lot and I have
observed how to manage the projects detailing and summarizing about them and at that time I
was feeling more conscious on working with projects. My group members have taken much
experience' of how to do work in group, and I was feeling happy after completing my projects.
Evaluation:-
I was thinking about learning the skills and its positive impact on my projects and I have
handled situation by being more positive and implementing the skills learned. The team members
helped me a lot in completing all the tasks and this was the time where I have implemented my
team working skills (Markkanen and et.al., 2020). Negative thought that I was feeling bad about
was that my team members have cancelled their evening plan for helping me in completing my
work because I was unable to complete the projects on time being alone.
Analysis:-
While taking this situation I have analysis such things that work should be done in proper
manner and one must keep more positive thinking about the work which have been allotted to
them. From this, I have also analysed various things and learn from my mistakes for becoming
better person with every passing day.
Conclusion:-
Some basic information that I have collected from projects was that the positive thinking
is must for completing the tasks within the decided time frame (He, Parkinson and Doyle, 2018).
These strategies of working, I will definitely apply in my future so that I will have much better
experience of doing these type of projects. I have used time managements skills, team working
and problem solving, through which I can help some other people for doing this again in the
future.
Action plan:-
I was able to analyse the skills existing in me and the weaker areas which must be
improved. I also realized that team working skills need to be improved and the communication
skills must be used effectively and efficiently. Also thinking positively can help me in achieving
the personal as well as professional goals.

From the above report it had been concluded that Kolb's and Gibbs model of reflective
cycle help for improving more skills and develop more knowledge through which it might be

while by providing some time and action plan also keep person for self-motivated in completing
any skills for developing. Communication, team working, problem solving and time
managements should help person for taking any decision-making and improve their skills
through which they can complete goals and objective.
