INTRODUCTION
Personal development is effective tool through which individual person is able to
improve their performance and work quality as well. It is the activity which can improve identity
as well as awareness. It can able to enhance quality of improve and increase standard of living as
well. Through this activities individuals are able to contribute in their dreams as well as
motivation. Every company wants to recruit best person who have perfect skills and knowledge.
Through they can easily attain targets and enhance market image as well (Deakin and Morris,
2012). Every person have to opted different types of learning style which them to improve their
performance and work quality.
TASK 1
1.1 Different types learning styles.
Every person have to opted various types learning style which are able to improve their
performance an work quality as well. I use learning style which are support me to attain my
target and those are use in the long learning (Stephenson and Yorke, 2013). Various styles are as
follows:
Sensory- These type of learners are so much on sensing. In this people are concentrate on
one thing rather than innovation and observing new things.
Visual- These are believe in the graphical presentation rather then believing on written or
oral things (De Vos, De Hauw and Van der Heijden, 2011). They get information from graphical
presentation and try improve their skills and knowledge.

Verbal- These learners are able to improve their knowledge through diagrams and flow
of charts (Fossey and Harvey, 2010). Through this they can easily understand the things and able
to improve their knowledge as well.
Active- If person think before they act then they can maintain their potential.
Reflective- If learners too much think before act then risk can be more increase (Buehler
and O'brien, 2011). These are involve them self in the major decision making process and
possible to improve their skills.
As above mentioned styles, I m a reflective learner and try to participate in the major
decision making process. Through this I can able to improve skills and enhance level of
knowledge as well.
1.2 Simple technique for identify development needs.

Potential barrier I having great impact on the performance of individual. Through this
person is have to face some problems which are able to reduce their performance and work
quality as well. As an employee of the form barriers for me are financial, work life balance and
much more. Social barriers including my family and try to improve their skills and knowledge as
well.
1.4 Learning can be overcome through barriers.
Learning is important for every person through they are able to improve performance and
work quality as well. Learning can be overcome with the help of barrier. This is so much helpful
for individual to improve their performance. Through this they can easily attain long term as well
as short term learning which is useful in their long life.

2.1 Development options to meet needs.
With the help of SWOT analysis persons are able to identify their own place of
development and try to improve their skills. Through SWOT analyses I can easily identify my
strength which I need to maintain for the learning time which can maintain my performance. If I
identify my weakness then I will try to manage my work quality and try to work on them in order
to enhance my capabilities and avoid risk which are arises due to weaknesses. Opportunities are
able to provide best way to enhance my skills and knowledge. If I accept them then can manage
my performance and to improve my qualification as well. Various types of threats are arises
during working time which are able to reduce my work quality. It is beneficial for as well as
other members.
2.2 Support mechanism for the development of needs.
Barriers are helpful to attain development needs and try to attain their set of target as
well. Goals can be easily attain with the help of this concept. Identify own development need is
important for every person to continuous growth (Beerkens, Mägi and Lill, 2011). Through this
