INTRODUCTION
Every person have some skills which help them in moving towards their personal and
professional goals and objectives. Also, up gradation in the skills is necessary for every
individual as it directly leads to the development of career. It is necessary to make personal
development plan as it highlight the skills of individual which are required to update along with
the actions which they have to take for the same. Below mentioned report is dealing with all
types of goals along with a personal development plan table. Furthermore, it also include the

TASK 1
Personal and Professional Development
It can be defined as a concept under which personal and professional skills of individual
has been analysed and work on the skills which are required to be upgrade. The skills which are
useful to have in an individual at the time of getting job are known as personal skills and the
skills which are used by individual while performing their job is known as professional skills.
The development of these skills makes the complete concept of Personal and Professional
development.
Short Term Goals
It refers to those goals which are made for a short period of time duration which include
less than 1 year. These goals involve high value as the achievement of these goals motivate the
individual for medium and long term goals. Examples:

Medium Term Goals
The bridge which connect the short and long term goals are known as medium term
