INTRODUCTION
Speaking in relation with the personal effectiveness, it is being referred as one of the
required or looked for skills that the employers want to have in their workers. The personal
effectiveness helps the person to develop and achieve the goals. It is quite generally being

main aim of the current research is to appraise the key skills ad behaviour needed to be
effective in professional context. It will also evaluate the influence of personal effectiveness
through taking the example of Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google. It will throw light on the
manners in which the skills of Sundar Pichai influence the employees of the company and
will also critically evaluate own personal effectiveness. From this report it will outline about
the personal effectiveness of the Sundar Pichai that helps him to know about the skills and
talent that must be improved in order to achieve goals. This report will also indicate the
different methods that helps and support them in order to develop the personal effectiveness.
By making the action plan it will help the leader to know about the areas where he is lacking

this makes him to provide the best guidance to the followers. In order to become the
successful leader, it must have the leadership qualities that includes humanity, understated,
relationships, deal maker, etc. The skills and behaviour of the Sundat Pichai and its impact is
determined by using the frameworks that is Covey’s 7 habits and CEO German project. By

having the good leadership skills and behaviours help the leader to develop more and have
better working with the employees. The better skills ad behaviour of the employees used to
have good impact on the working of the employees and on the organization as well (Alcañiz
and et.al., 2018). The leader must guide the employees to work in the proper manner that will
increase the productivity of the company in order to provide the best services to the
customers. The models are as described below:
Covey’s 7 Habits: Covey used to present an approach that helps the person to be effective
while working in order to attain goals (7 Habits of Highly Effective People [Summary &
Takeaways], 2022). As the leader of Google it is very necessary for Sundar Pichai to have the
below habits in order to have enhancement in their skills and behaviours. The seven habits
are described below:
1. Be proactive: In order to be the successful leader the person must focus on the what
the person can control and motivates them to do work. As this helps the leaders to
develop their skills and behaviours. Sundar Pichai is one of the finest leader so he
must focus on the things that helps them to do work and motivate the employees to do
better. This helps them to increase in the analysing skills by having the proper
analyzation of the work in the company. This used to have positive impact on the
organization and employees as there is effective leader working for the growth of

Summarizing the result of the self-assessment utilizing self-assessment tool
Articulating in relation with the personal assessment tool, they are quite beneficial in
evaluating personal skills as well as behaviour and it is quite supportive for the individuals
for determining along with disabling weaknesses. For the personal skills appraisal, Big Five
Personality Test was being taken into consideration. Further, this personal test helped me in
evaluating and analysing my personal choices and the outcomes being received from this test
are very advantageous for choosing the right job roles and career opportunities. As per
Kwantes and Boglarsky (2017), the Big Five personality test involves five assessment criteria
that is Openness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Neuroticism and Agreeableness. The test
has shown high level of scores in openness, average score on conscientiousness and
agreeableness and very lower scores on extraversion and neuroticism at the same time.
Speaking about openness, it is being defined as the capability of an individual to think in an
abstract as well as complex manners. It has been originated from the test that as I have a high
level of openness which signifies that I am very intellectual and love more adventure and
creative things. Conscientiousness on the other hand, is referred as the ability of an individual
to rehearse self-discipline and this is their path for attaining objectives. As I got average score
on this, it signifies that I am not organized that much and also does not keep a good eye on
their long-term objectives for the purpose of attaining the anticipated level of success. Other
than this, I scored quite low in extraversion which is being referred as the capability of an
individual to remain social as well as outgoing. Less than the above average clearly suggest
that this is one of my weaknesses and reflected my introvert nature. There is one more type of
factor that is agreeableness which involves putting the requirements of others ahead of the
personal requirements of the individual (Covey and Covey, 2020). I scored average score on
this parameter which signifies that I have some level of competition and need to learn
cooperation. The final one is neuroticism, which is the main trait which influences the

capability of the people to sense a feeling of negative emotions like anxiety, fear, shame and

From the analysis of the case of Mr. Sundar Pichai, the CEO of Google, it has been
noticed by me that personally I have achieved growth and development in an effective way.
Overall, it has supported me in my determining my strong areas along with the weak points
effectively in relation with the personality. Furthermore, it has been evaluated that talent
along with innovation can help in meeting out the success of everything in life and other than
this, a suitable personal and professional development can make sure probable success in the
near future. I am now feeling very good that I have some strengths which will help me in
excelling in my future career opportunities and job roles. I have identified that I am quite
patient and listen to other effectively which is one of my greatest strengths. Other than this, I
am also quite good at prioritizing tasks which helps me in completing my large volume of
work and assignments effectively (Fitriani, 2021). However, I have also found with the help
of my knowledge as well as ideas that there are some gaps in initiating as well as ending
points of an effective project. I have also learned from the personal effectiveness that there
are some weaknesses which needs to be improved and worked upon such as introvert,
communication skills, team working skills and lower level of conscience. Thus, overall, it can
be said that seeking help from the self-development as well as effective actualization,
different issues along with challenges can be analysed significantly. According to my point of
view, there is a requirement of creation of some action plan which will help in development
of these personal skills where I am lacking. I can make improvement in my skills though
effectively participating in challenging assignments, working in team and sharing materials
and resources. Further, I also need to attend different seminars and classes for making
improvement in my communication. Undertaking leadership in group work will help in
eradicating my introvert nature (Gibbs, 1988). In addition to this, I can also manage myself as
a good leader that will help in protecting the company and its work culture in an effective
manner. Thus, I can analyse appropriate plans for the personal growth as well as professional
development in relation with the management of the organization. By having the patience in
order to do the hard work makes me to become the great leaders and this helps me to have the
proper working of the company. By having the good educational knowledge and ideas that
there were some lacking areas that affects me to work with the greater efficiency in order to
complete the project.

Deliberating the consequence of weaknesses on prospects of employability
The personality score has revealed a high level of openness and it reflects that I have
some interest in arts and cultural related topics. The higher score also dictates that I have
some problems being practical and emphasize on learning activities and cultures. Seeking
help from the personality tests, I have been able to find out certain weaknesses which I need
to improve. However, weaknesses such as communication skills, team working skills,
introvert and conscience will have a significant influence in the prospects of my
employability. Without these skills, I will be easily distracted from the work and will not be
able to balance the long term as well as short term goals in my job role (Claessens, 2014).
This will impact my yearly appraisal, performance appraisals, growth and work commitments
at the workplace. In addition to this, as I am not good at managing my time, I will face
problems in selecting as well as prioritizing significant tasks at work. Further I have also
evaluated that my problem solving skills were also not good that used to affect my leadership.
I need to improve on this weakness as this will helps me to know more about the
management of the problems in the company. This used to have effect on the prospects of
employability and this used to have impact on the leadership skills and behaviours. .

There are various strategies that might be used so that all the weakness are improved
systematically over the period. Furthermore, these strategies might be implemented in regular
way so that maximum results are achieved in the end. Moreover, for all the weakness that
have been stated above the following strategies might be used:
For communication skill:
I will focus more on the listening the other person opinions clearly and properly so that later I
am able to establishes the best communication with that person (10 Ways to Improve Your
Communication Skills , 2022). Also, through active listening I would be able to acquire new
knowledge about the topic and also it will help in understanding the small details about the
same.
Another strategy that would be used to improve this skill is to write the important things
down in form of key points so that I do not have to rely on the memory. Thus, the
communication would be established better and effective as things are very well-known in
advance in the future.
For team working skills:

One of the strategy that would be used by me is developing trust on other people
while working in the diverse team so that other people opinions are respected. Also, I
have known that productivity in work cannot be shown if trust is lacking. Hence, I
would focus on enjoying the wok through being responsible and showing trust on
other people in any group during work (Walsh, Tartakovsky and Shifter‐David, 2019).
I would also assure that all the roles of team members are been clarified every time by
me so that there is no confusion in the end. Also, this would also give me insight on
the work that is done by each member and would also allow me in report righting
person while carrying out any complex task within the group
For being Introvert:
The best strategy that have been identified by me to overcome such type of weakness
is that building the confidence and taking small steps of trying being socialized so that
I am able to open up easily to new people easily.
Also, I would use the strategy of identifying the negative traits in myself so that I
would be able to change them in systematic manner in due course of time.
For lower level of conscience:
The one strategy that I would use is focusing less on what others people are thinking
about me and being more focused on the activities that I need to carry out in day so
that best results are obtained (Staples, Cameron and de Wet, 2020)
Another strategy that I believe would work in this situation is that I am not focusing
on the negative thoughts in mind that only destroys my level of thinking.

This is personal development plan that would allow in improving the certain
weakness and would clarify me with proper requirement of resources and steps that need to
be undertaken so that certain gaols are achieved in well-defined manner.

to the carry out the best work in the organization and helped him to reach greater height of
success through efficient delegation of variety of work. Moreover, significance of personal

Furthermore, through applying such models in the report it had helped in identifying certain
skills and behaviour that need to be present while managing the large organization and its
diverse workforce. Also, the study had laid the importance that if right attitude is adopted by
the firm than it would result in greater productivity and ensure optimum utilization of
resources. Furthermore, the study had critically evaluated certain strengths such as patient
listening, prioritizing tasks etc. that would help in achieving best short and long term goals in
the future. Also, it had analysed various weakness such as lack in communication skills,
introvert, lower level of conscience etc. that are lacking and requires proper corrective
measures on time for its improvement in the future. Also, through such framework best of
strategies had also been discussed that would be used so that weakness might be improved in
