Introduction
Personal hygiene refers to steps for maintaining cleanliness and grooming of the external
body. It involves fact of reducing risk of various severe diseases by maintain personal hygiene
through bathing washing hands, brushing teeth and sporting clean clothing (Ortins, Leal and
Christman, 2014). Moreover, concept and requirement of personal hygiene will focus and it's
impact on people consisting severe disease is given below.
Background
The present research is based on NHS which is public health organisation in England,
Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. It was founded in the year around 1948 in order to
provide required health care services for completing related needs of people.
Aim

Objectives
 To determine the concept of personal hygiene and its role in individuals life.
 To identify the requirement of maintaining personal hygiene.
 To determine the impact of personal hygiene on health of people consisting severe
diseases.

Literature Review
This includes concept of and requirement of personal hygiene which is all about to
maintain cleanliness in order to avoid several health issues. It include the need of personal
hygiene in respect of patients who are already suffered from severe disease as they will get
overcome with the same very soon.
Research methodology
The research methodology includes qualitative & quantitative research and primary &
secondary methods of data collection as well as sampling is used by considering 30 respondents.
Limitations of the Study
The limitations of research include that secondary resources are not sufficient and people
do not aware about the topic so that unable to given proper views (Cemek and et. al., 2016).
Overcoming Limitations of the Study
The limitations can be overcome by consulting through seniors colleagues who are
working in same field as they are able to provide desired information to conduct research
properly.

The concept of hygiene is all about to take care of cleanliness and grooming of external
body which is required to avoid infection of various critical diseases. It involves impacts on
personal hygiene on patients having severe diseases as they can avoid complications of their
