INTRODUCTION
An organisation includes diversified culture in order to carry out all function effectively
as it increases productivity along with creativity of company. Culture diversity becomes
important as each nation, workplace etc. consist various culture, racial and ethnic groups
(Deardorff and Arasaratnam-Smith, 2017). In which the present report is based on personal inter
culture experiences at workplace.
MAINBODY
Personal inter culture experiences at work means when an individual of one culture try to
known about different other cultures at workplace in order to carry out effective communication,
for building relationship among other staff members of company as well as to neglect the
conflicts (Preiswerk, 2019). In relevance to this, when I was working in a UK based company
Tesco, I have had learned so experiences when I was working with different culture peoples.
Such as inter culture communication foster team work in a company and that help me to
understand each other culture differences and to communication effectual without any
misunderstanding. By which the task performances efficiency got increased and I got success in
meeting the goal of company.
Another experience I have learned from inter culture was that I can understood two
different language as my team mates in company belongs to different culture and for matching
pitch with them I learned their language. But initially when I joined company it become difficult
for me to communicate with them and due to this sometime I got demotivate like I I will survive
here and how I will attain my goal but after a while I got encouragement from my team leader
and he help me out from this problem. In the company I faced different types of problems and
issues because the I faced a different type of culture which affected me as I had to adjust in it.
Therefore it is quite important for me that I am able to ensure that I communicate in a better
manner with my teammates in an appropriate manner. In Tesco, I started adjusting slowly with
the challenges related with culture which allowed me to ensure that I raise the overall level of
efficiency and effectiveness.
Apart from this, with this inter culture I made so many friendship bonds in company as
well as outsides for gaining success and growth in life. As these friend helps in performing the
function of company in effective manner. They boost up my motivation level while working any

In my company I faced a situation in which I had to face problems because I was not able
to adjust with the culture. My colleagues were not able to communicate in a better manner with
me because I did not understand their cultural needs and requirements at first. Thus, I started
adjusting slowly with the culture by identifying what are the actual needs and requirements of
my colleagues and thus I started to gain confidence in communicating with them. The problem
faced with my colleagues in communication ensured that I learned the way I can take a
corrective and rectifying action which enables me to be able to attain the desired goals and
objectives effectively and efficiently. Thus I can say that in such a situation in the future I will be
in a position to take an action which will help me a lot in ensuring that I am able to raise my
cultural competencies and skills in a better way to be able to adjust according to the given
culture.
During group work I learned to stop judging the strange behaviour of others peoples in
first impression. By this I will able to to apply everything that I have learned to future
interactions and experiences. In order to overcome this situation it is important to have proper
knowledge about inter culture compunctions. During that I faced a problems which is related
with the cross culture like the way of performing task in different mode with my other team
members and that is term out s ethnocentrism (Knowles, 2017). As we all have different idea to
carry forwards the assigned task and due to which conflict raised and that was overcome wit the
assistance of team leaders.
CONCLUSION
From above discussed report it has been concluded that in an organisation it is vital to
have diverse culture for brining innovation and gaining success at marketplace.
