INTRODUCTION
Personal interest audit refers to the process to identify the career scope which a individual
want to pursue and explore as a profession in their life. Employment opportunities refers job
opportunity which gives identity, personal achievement and a sense of pride to a individual
(Cohen, Dalton and Harp, 2017). It also enable a person to find support, socialise and build
professional contact for future growth. It helps a personal to earn money for survival, to explore
their interest as well as develop skills and knowledge for betterment in their career.
MAIN BODY
While participating in the 10 week lecture classes at University of Bedfordshire business
school I identified many areas for professional career. There are various lectures that I attend to
know more about the career scope and field which I can pursue as my profession in future. In
these 10 weeks I learned various courses like facial massage, Flight Attendant, Commercial
Helicopter pilot and so on for further studies. These courses have wide scope in future as well as
have multiple employment opportunities with better pay scale. To engage in these courses I need
to learn various skills for smooth learning and better understanding. During the time of lectures I
get to know about my personal interest that is choose as my career. Also, I am more engaged in
the course of Commercial Helicopter pilot while participating in the lectures of 10 week at
University of Bedfordshire business school.
In Commercial Helicopter pilot, it is generally cargo or transports passengers between
destinations of different countries. This job role is assigned to complete particular tasks like tours
and surveys. These pilots perform their work in industries like agriculture, tourism and health
care services. A pilot is practices their skills as well as trained to fly aircraft. In this job role, pilot
perform various task like schedule flight plans, ensure the craft is set for departure and fills
maintenance checks to the head (Field, 2018). It also includes checking and inspecting the
engines, aircraft's systems and navigation equipment to assure that everything functioning
properly. Commercial helicopter pilots is a interesting and varied working career which has
higher growth scope in future.
I choose Commercial Helicopter pilot course as my profession because I love to explore
new things and want to help many people with my services. Also it has many growth
opportunities for future development and career. To perform this job role, I can work in different

countries as well as it allows me to make various contacts by meeting people from different
country where I land. As a commercial helicopter pilot I can fly for sightseeing tours or aerial
photography. Also I will have great experience while working as this profession because it
allows me to learn new skills, cultures, languages as well as values of different countries.
Moreover, I will get to know more about various countries, technical skills, its operation and so
on which gives me higher satisfaction in my life. Also, I can help many people by providing
services to them during the time of crises.
In Commercial Helicopter pilot, there are various skills required such as communication
skills, learning ability, decision making , leadership skills, observation skills, and so on. I have
studied the course of commercial pilot so I have the Commercial Pilot's License to conduct my
practices in practically. I also learned and developed various skills while studying in schools or
these course such as communication skills, observation skills, awareness and leadership skills. I
have also good hand eye coordination and strong spatial awareness about the working of aircraft
(Green, 2017). I also, have interest in aviation as well as have some maps and navigation
knowledge which helps to operate aircraft smoothly from one country to another. I am good at
communication which allows me to interact well with passengers from different culture.
I like to explore new things, profession as well as new country and this job role give me
all the purpose which I like to do (Harris, Petrovits and Yetman, 2017). Also in this job role,
there are various future and development opportunities which helps me to grow successfully.
While performing this job role, I can also help various needy people who are suffered during war
and crises. My personal interest is to travel in different countries, love to learn new or technical
skills, new cultural, value or language as well as adventure. All these things I can full fill while
performing Commercial Helicopter pilot job role.
CONCLUSION
As per above personal skills audit, it is concluded that Commercial Helicopter pilot is a
perfect job role for the person who like to explore new thing and want to help people with their
services during crises. For this job role, the necessary skills required are communication skills,
learning ability, decision making , leadership skills and observation skills. Also, to practising this
the pilot have to take Commercial Pilot's License from administration.
