PERSONAL STATEMENT
Personal Essay:
I have always been very enthusiastic regarding the pharmaceuticals. It has raised my
interests in various ways and I find this stream very appealing to me as it includes various areas
that interest me. I have been very focused in my studies from childhood and the day that I
learned that I can take care of others and help them by treating them and change their lives, I had
resolved to continue my career in medical sciences.
The most intriguing thing that motivated me towards continuing my career in medical
sciences is when I found my own brother who was affected by the disease of hypothyroidism,
was finally cured to intense medical attention. It has been a very sensitive case, as I have never
seen my brother suffer like this. It has been a long time as I have noticed the deformity and
disability for a long time. I have resolved after dealing with a lot of crisis in my family and also
on the social level. Therefore, the idea of dealing with the constraints that I have been facing for
my family, I wanted to eradicate this problem. Therefore, my problems needed to be resolved
and being established as a medical practitioner would definitely help me with my problems as
well as I will be able to expertise on the factor of helping others and reaching aids as urgent as
possible. This will also help me cope up with the emotional tension and I will be able to
successfully provide actions to my own understandings.
The response which I got as my brother was treated with extreme and given best medical
attention; definitely was very pleasing and certainly a lot relieving for my whole family and me.
This factor worked as an important reason behind raising my interest for the medical sciences.
This situation resulted into building up of my personality, as I have successfully grown up to be a
person to responsible and have also successfully generated “conflict resolution” for me.

Pharmacy has boosted in me the acceptance and the establishment of the fact that what
medical science can provide a great deal of changing people’s lives. Also the factor of my
interest and the curiosity regarding the mechanism of chemicals. The fact of generation of the
crucial reasons behind the choice of pharmacy is that I had an affinity towards biology. This has
highly expanded my strength towards the enhancement of chemical understanding and carrying
on with the studies as well. Having developed and gained idea regarding the themes and the
having developed a background knowledge about the ideas that are directly and indirectly linked
with the medical studies and pharmaceuticals as well.
I have gathered my expertise and continued pursuing medical sciences as I kept on
following my dreams, I attended several educational workshops and also volunteered at a certain
pharmacy drug store that is situated close in my locality at my hometown country. This has
helped me to gain personal expertise on the subject and has helped me to learn the difference
between the US and Vietnam pharmacy industry.
