INTRODUCTION
Personal and professional development plan is important process which are
conducting by the organisation and individuals to enhance their learning and objectives skills
to achieve the targets. Professional and personal development skills aid the employees to
improve their efficiency towards their work. Further, it includes some activities like time
management and many more (Ifanti and Fotopoulou, 2011). The manager has to monitor
learning and objective skills of employees for improving their personal developments. The
manager has to provide training and development programme to employees so that they can
know about the roles and duties in the organisation and to maximize the growth of the
company. The present report is based on David game college which is located in United
Kingdom. Further, the report discusses about different approaches of self-learning. Moreover,
different communication styles have been explained.
TASK 1
1.1 Reflective Learning Log

learn many things for the better development of my own. It not only helps me in succeeding

for analysing the current position. And it also states clear goal for future. There are some

any answer of the any question. So, with the help of internet gaining the knowledge becomes
easy. There are many links, web pages are available on the net so we can go through them
and made the area of learning very vast.

Along with this I have to focus on my needs which help me to perform the task in appropriate
manner at work place. In order to develop my skills I have to increase my learning skills
through using the internet services, social sites and attending the seminars and conferences.
These all will enhance me to use the different approaches of learning skills so that I can
achieve the all the targets in efficient manner. However, I will also improve my skills such
communication skills and get motivated at work place to perform my all task properly.

in which I can get success.

term time period. I should ensure that my mind will not get divert that these goals can not be
achieved by me due to critical situations which I face at any point of time.
Focus on getting better, rather than being good – I believe in myself that I can
reach to my targets properly. By believing in me it gives an ability to perform my task
properly. I have to focus on my goals to prove myself that I can do something rather than to
acquire new skills.
Be a realistic optimist – When I am setting my goals and targets, then I have to
concentrate on my plans that in which way this can be achieved. Through this I can believe
on my skills and motivate myself to achieve the targets with in time period.
2.4 Personal development plan
I have to first set my long and short term objectives to achieve my targets within time
period. Short term goals are set for some period which I have to achieve within 12 months.
My short term goals are that I have to attend my class properly to get receive best results and
sometimes I have attend the seminars and conferences which gives me a ability to improve
my knowledge and communication skills in front of the public. and through this I can
improve my communication skills (Grant, 2017). I have to find the job which is according to
me. On the other side, my long term objectives are to become the leader in the organisation so
that I can resolve their problems on which they are facing the issues in organisation. On other
side, I want to work with my top authority people which can give me a opportunity to
increase my skills and knowledge. I have to set my goals in such a manner which can be
changed in the dynamic environment and gives me benefits to achieve my targets on time. If
my short term goals are achieved then I can easily achieve my long term targets also (Maskit,
2011).

targets with in time period. The following are some techniques which are using by me to
improve my knowledge and skills.
Mass instruction technique – In David college the training is provided by attending
the lectures or given the presentation. These techniques will increase my knowledge so that I
can perform my task properly.
Individual learning techniques – This techniques includes self-instruction by
collecting resource from different places, by preparing the individual assignment, computer
based learning and many more techniques can be used which help me to make strong
communication and improve my skills at workplace.
Group learning techniques – in this techniques the managers are providing the

There are many conflicts are already takes place within the organisations. These
problems affects the efficiency of workers in the organisation. That's why entity is suffering
heavy loss.
The main problem is the rumours of salary differentiation. The workers thinks that
they are getting low wages as compared to others (Ebert-May and et. al., 2011). The lack of
communication is the reason behind this. So, the solution is that the company should have to
arrange weekly meetings and bound every body so that they can start communicate each
other. Another thing is that to organise activities so that they can interact each other.
By using these methods the conflicts arises can be sort out and the rumours of these
kind will going to stop. It also increases employees efficiency. The business should have to
pay for the extra time of the workers so they can get motivated through that.
Their is a lack of communication gap between the employees and the management in
Talk Team. So, it is the duty of the management to share their ideas with their workers and
gave the feel that they are also the part of the organisation.
Also the management have to work over on the project of communication
differentiation of the employees. The interaction between the employees made the firm be
able to achieve target goals in the future and also sort out all the problems of their consumers
as soon as possible (Eros, 2011). The firm have to use some styles of communication which
