INTRODUCTION
Personal and Professional development is the process of managing the learning throughout the
career. These report highlights the comparison between value and principle of Personal and
personal health care which include showing how personal culture and experience can influence
the role and how new development can affect the work. This report than shows the SWOT and
holistic development plan of my working. Further these report shows professional relationship
and also shows the different benefit of promoting and supporting. In the end report shows
different aspect of my work when working in a team dynamic.
TASK 1
1.1 Compare the personal values with principles of support working in health care and social
care.
Being human, We all have our personal values, ethics, beliefs and attitude that we used to
develop during our upbringing. We view the world in the way of our family, friends and
community has contributed in our sense in our life cycle whereas values are certain standards,
and qualities that a person or community hold as high regard. These value play important role in
the decision making process. Fundamental norms that guide for the behaviour of evaluation of a
particular person or group is known as principle.
My personal values are mostly influenced by my family. My family has influenced many
of my decision in my life. My culture made be more dignified towards my work. Friends plays
an important role in identifying the goals and objective in my life (Cottrell, 2015).
The main principles of support in health and social system is to ensure support to the
service user and must respect there rights and personality. As many services user comes from
different culture so it is the responsibility of the care worker to respect there culture and beliefs.
The care workers maintain the records of the patient so it important for the care worker to
maintain the confidentiality of the data.
The similarity between my personal values and the principle is that respect of the
different culture and dignity towards my work. I respect each and every person having same or
different culture. Being a care assistant I maintain confidentiality of data that shows dignity
towards my work.

culture there comes the biasness in making the decision. Due to having of different culture we

My personal experience was a little difficult as being an introvert to the people for the
first time. The communication between me and my client was bit difficult and turned out to dis
satisfactory. Communication problem as a major issue that I too deal with. So it is important to
have the proper communication with your colleagues and client.
Because of having the dis satisfactory client at the work place, I asked my colleagues of
having the better communication skills so that they can positively put there work before the
client (Ulvik and Lunenberg, 2017).
