Personal and professional development known as the most important concept which
involves the improvement of skills and knowledge of a single person that helps them in order to
give their performance in an effective manner (Reeves, 2012). It includes enhancement of skills

profitable for professional life and personal hike of single person. This report has explanation in
context of professional and personal development for manager of the foods chain. Travelodge
Hotel founded which is a private hospitality company. They are dealing in consumable item and
serves worldwide. This hotel has been choose for this report. Some of the approaches of self-
managed learning has been discussed here along with their benefits. It is needed to define
development requirement in purpose to to frame plan for suitable action. In this report activities
for plan framing has been explained. There are some benefits that organisation and their
employees can be received form all these techniques of learning discussion will be provided in
this report too.

create and develop different other competencies in order to reduce bad or negative aspects. These

Capability to deal with unpredictable or risk situation of the job.
Arranges time in proper manner.
Reduce roadblocks that affects communication and problem solving skills.
