Academic skills these are those set of skills that has helped in developing of experiences
during the academic year. These skills have make sustainability to be achieved in more effective
manner. Such skills makes academic performance improved of the students by making study
skills enhanced. Also academic skills have been helping in achieving various aspects which is
based over professionalism and helps an individual over covering success in long time. These
skills have been covering short, long and midterm goals exist. The file covers about personal
development which means that kind of development that helps an individual in growing itself. In
the end eight sources is been evaluated.
TASK One
a) Provide definition about both personal and professional development
Personal development plan is the plan that has been helping in developing of individuals
personality and help in attaining success in academic year (Razuri and Zöttl, 2020). Also this
plan makes development of academic skills in an individual. It helps in evaluating success and
various elements related to it.
b) Describe about value of short -term goals and give three examples regarding it.
Short term goals are known as those goals which is been set for time period of 12 months.
Such goals have target for achieving success in shortest time possible. Three examples that has
been explained as follows:
Recognize certification in order to attain knowledge professional in nature.
Purchasing new mobile phone from salary or savings.
Improving skill which helps in making things better.
c) Discuss about medium-term goals with three personal examples of it.
Medium term goals are goals that have been formed in order to attain success within the
period of three years. In these goals both personal and professional development is been made in
order to make skills development possible. Examples have been explained as follows:
Planning with holiday trip or long vacation of two months or more.
Buying an house and getting themselves registered under one’s own name.
