INTRODUCTION
Personal and Professional development is the process through which the organization and
individual engage in the process of learning to meet the challenges and desire goal. This report
contains information such as role of leadership in the success of the company and theory of
leadership. Other than it model of reflection by gibbs has also been explained with a reflective
statement.

Gibbs reflective cycle
There are 6 stages in this model. This model highlights the personal experience of an
individual. This model is used for repeated stages but can be used for single experiences too.
Description-
This aspect highlights the experience of the situation in a detailed manner. This point is
concerned with what happened in the experience. For instance- I had a written assignment about
personal and professional development and I had to go through all the project myself as it was an
individual report so no teamwork was allowed. I thought that I would be able to complete the
assignment just the day before submission which states that I didn’t fixed a proper schedule for it
and that put me under a lot of trouble as it was so much work. I had to complete it all under one
night so that the teacher accept my submission. I had to drop my every other plan for the day so
that I can sit and finish my assignment in peace.
Feelings-
This aspect highlights the feelings which the individual had gone through while working
and finishing the task and how it has made the impact on the experience. For instance before
getting the assignment I was happy that I had to do nothing and when I got the project I was sad.
Even then I didn’t realized the importance of time I kept wasting it and when the submission date

was nearby I realized that no matter what I do, how hard I try I am not able to do the work
appropriately and it won’t be remarkable. I was very tensed and frustrated at the end of the day
because everyday I thought that I would start it and finish it in time. I was demotivated that if or
not I will be able to do it. I ended up feeling that its all my fault I should have been more
attentive but then it occurred to me that it was only taking more of my time which I could invest
in my assignment. Then I started the work with full focus and then when I completed the work I
gained the level of satisfaction that I wanted.
Evaluation-
This aspect is concerned with evaluating the things that worked and didn’t work in the
assessment. It needs to be done with full focus and honesty so that true data can be taken out.
Also both the sides that is positive as well negative sides needs to be remembered. For instance
on the bright side the worked that I did in my assignment was presentable and appropriate
according to the satisfactory level. I gained motivation when I lost all my hope and I thought I
couldn’t do it but I was wrong. These were the positive things about the experience. Only think I
guess that was wrong that I didn’t started the assignment soon enough and that created too much
anxiety and pressure in the end.
Analysis-
Last stage was about highlighting all the negatives and positives from the experience but
this stage is concerned about analyzing the reason or meaning behind it. For instance I think that
the assignment went appropriate because of the knowledge I have gained in class from my
teachers. Other than this when I started the work then I worked with all of my strength. I found
out that whenever I work with my full strength then I reach new heights. I thought that working
in the end will be make me more efficient and make the work complete sooner. That did not
happen instead it only brought more pressure upon me. If I had planned and executed everything
according to that plan then I wouldn’t have to go through this situation. In order to get more
knowledge I researched it on internet and read some books.

This aspect is concerned with making the conclusion about the experience. All the
learning of the individual is highlighted in this aspect. For example- I learned that I need to start
the project in time so that I can attach more better data into it as I will have more time for the
research and I will be able to know my strength and weakness. In order to improve my strategies
I need to work and challenge myself as that will improve my capabilities and increase the
efficiency of work.
Action plan-
This step is concerned with what an individual would do in the same situation when it
happens again in near future. It includes the situation that how an individual would react in it
such as planning and executing it differently. People can look up to their past and see to not
make the same mistake again. For example- next time I won’t repeat the same mistake again and
understand the assignment thoroughly so that I have no problems while researching the data.
Also I will start working on it at the moment I have got it. Also I will challenge myself in order
to improve my abilities during this time as it will make me a better person.
Reflective journal
Communication skills-
While completing my project I realized that I have improved my written as well as verbal
skills. I drafted my assignment with full perfection and double proof it so that any errors made by
me can be taken out instantly as it gives wrong impression to the reader. I have communicated
my idea perfectly through this assignment. In order to obtain information I communicated with
different people which I couldn’t do it before. This also helped me raise my confidence.
Research skills-
This assignment and experience has improved my skills of research. In the assignment I
have taken information which is totally right and which are from credible sources. Other than
this I also conducted survey through questionnaire method in order to get up to date information.
This has helped me to get an insight to how to conduct research in future and the mistakes I
made this time won’t be made again.

With the use of information and communication technology I have been able to enhance
my subjective learning such as numeracy and literacy. It made me understand the importance of
teamwork as there were places where we worked as a team and rectified each other errors while
communicate their ideas to each other. It also helped me to retain knowledge of many different
thing I learn and this opens up new opportunities for me to pursue.
Team work-
This assignment was supposed to be a individual’s work but still I took help from many
of my friends in order to evaluate the report so that errors can be analyzed and assignment can be
interpreted in new ways. This experience helped me to understand how coordinating with
everyone is essential. I cooperated with everyone and match up to the speed of others so that I
don’t get left behind.
Time and self management-
I learned the importance of time I understood what happens when you don’t manage your
time and start things when they are supposed to be. This situation led me to so much work load
that I feared I was not able to handle but now I am managing my schedule and planning
everything. According to the plan I execute the work so that I do not get into trouble again. This
is beneficial as managing time has helped me to improve my efficiency. Now I keep my
assignment ready before the deadline.
Problem solving skills-
These skills are necessary as I was in problem when I had not started my work but I
solved the problem with sheer motivation and confidence and attempted to complete the work
which I was successful to complete. These skills are necessary as there is pressure involved in
every task. I have learned that in order to complete the task efficiently one must understand the
aspect of the task to begin with and rule out all the complex measures as it will help me to make
the work easier.

CONCLUSION
From the above studies it has been summarized that the strategies used by Jeff Bezos and the
implementation of it on the right time is the reason they have gained there position today. The
success of the company relies on the right set of leadership used in the company. Also working
up with the best teams has helped them to earn this mark. Other than this report also highlights
the reflective model by gibbs which has helped to highlight the importance of managing things in
time and how to make it better in future so that there are no errors in the repeated scenario.
