INTRODUCTION
The term personal development is a way to consists their activities to develop and assess
various skills and capabilities of an individual and consider to set goals and objectives in respect
to realise and maximise their potential skills (Ahmed and Ward, 2016). This development can
enhance their person knowledge and skills and determine how they can efficiently increase their
quality of life and dreams. The main aim of personal development is a long procedures and
maximize their potential skills and set goals to measure their qualities. Professional development
consists a learning part of specific person refers to a wide variety of training an formal education
that helps to improve their knowledge, competencies and their professional skills. The main
purpose is to manage and focus on various skills such as mental, physical and social skills. To
improve their knowledge in state to individual person and enhancing their student achievements.
In this module, they reflect employability and study skills which is related to communication
skills, research skills, teamwork, time management and problem solving skills.
MAIN BODY
Gibbs Reflection Cycle:
This term is developed by Graham Gibbs in 1998 to create a learning experiences and
offers a structure for study their experiences (Balbag, Yenilmez and Turgut, 2017). It is often
takes place many people think about experience level, activity and making them sensible own
actions. This model is a better way to work through experiences either they can stand alone and
there is action plan that become more general. It is better to be adjust and change their
behaviour. This model consists of six stages which are named as Description, Feelings,
Evaluation, Analysis, Conclusion and Action plan are as follows:
Description: To improve my employability and study skills for this assessment I have
joined a course of Business studies. During to my course, my mentor provide me and my team a
project and said to make a team of six people and complete their project on this time. I have
decided to distribute many sections like one person has complete another topic and other person
has compete another topic (Davies, Curtin and Robson, 2017). We should expected that complete
their project in afternoon before deadline. With related to this project, I have improved and
developed many skills like teamwork and communications skills for discussing their project. In
communication skills, it include both verbal or non-verbal whether it is face to face writing but

very few people want at least some each type of communication. Non verbal when we
communicate without words only used expression, gestures and so on. When we sit down it was
clear all section are related to this project were not written in same style or same language. This
assignment has enough time to complete before deadline and each individual person has write
their own sections so this way of group assignment has to be developed strong teamwork.
Feelings: When I listen about this project I was very happy so I thought through this
project I have enhanced my skills and knowledge. But later on I started this assignment, I was
tensed I thought we could not handle so I got frustrated. After that when we grouped and talking
each other regarding this project I was blessed because everyone is there with me supportive and
talented to complete this. We all learn something new that will be beneficial for use in upcoming
years and find something in own to change in our skills. Later on, I have learned team work
skills will makes it effective way like how to complete our work on timely basis.
Evaluation: Group project of business studies course were going good and all are
worked well in fact each member in this group produce high quality of work before deadline
whereas bad thing is that there is to give presentation in front of all people. Everyone
contribution are positively related to this project to group work ethic (Tod, Hutter and Eubank,
2017). To complete this project I have faced many problems regarding this project like matter
are not available on websites, teachers are busy on their own work first time no one tell me how
to write in this project. But overall experience are good because it has enhance my self
management skills. To evaluate this course business studies I have learned many definitions and
analyse many things that make sense for reader.
Analysis: This project was complete is on time because each person in group they wanted
to work on and work are divided into different segments on each person. I have experienced
before when I m working on myself I enjoy my own company in the time of work. In this, I
have increased and improve my problem solving skills because during this project I have faced
many difficulties to complete this but I have managed my own problem efficiently and
effectively. I think the fact is we have not planned how we writing and determine various
section in this assignment only assigned parts of this project. Being aware of group assignment in
upcoming years are facilitative when we trying to make decisions. It seem to be natural to be
natural to work in groups and this approach saves time when we decide to part the section for
each person has allotted. In regarding this project, I searched various topics such as literature,

analytical tools and many books. It is helpful to identify strength and weakness to each person
like how much time they can complete their work, a work allotted are easy for person or not.
Conclusion: I have many things are learned regarding this project and improve my
communication and self management skills and most important thing is how to improve team
work. I have learned when we divide things to other people also workload is down, if we work
on a team then it is significant to plan each and everything in an proper manner. I have improve
my time management skills when I have worked on group assignment because each and every
person are assigned each sections in this project. Lastly, I have learned sometimes we have
challenging situation and faced difficult decisions in group so you have to ensure that we are not
disagree just because of group think. All out of these, I have realised one thing is that we all
work separately on each topic this has impact on times management and self confidence should
be developed because I have managed most of things regarding this project and improve my
communication skills and most importantly time management skills that we have completed the
work on time before deadline.
Action plan: When I working on this group assignment next time then I will be prepared
with all my skills and assure that cannot faced any difficulty regarding this project (Vetere and
Stratton, 2016). Next time if we decide to work in group, I will implore that we plan what we
expect from this situation and I would suggest that firstly, we are writing introduction then main
body so that it will be easy to prepare and complete this project on time and cant face difficult
challenges in future. Now I m confident about my future perspective that what I m doing in next
time and how to manage everything regarding projects or anything. I have learned my
communication skills that I m on working and carelessly make communication procedures more
effective and efficiently. Lastly, I will ask if we face any challenges so that we are confident to
making any decisions. If I have concerned about anything I will tell my group first and then think
because I want my best possible outcome will make me disagree even when I m uncomfortable.
CONCLUSION
From the above information, it has been understood that personal development is a
procedures to improving and enhancing a skills and knowledge of individual and build their
wealth. Professional development refers to increase their capabilities through access to learning
and education part in workplace. It helps to maintain and build morale of staff members and
attract better quality staff of firm. Personal and professional development focus on improving

social skills in this and professional development focus on improving knowledge and
experiences in work environment. In this report, we talk about course related to business studies
and they make a team of six people each and every one should be assigned one topic. They says
Gibbs reflection cycle describes the description, feelings, evaluation, conclusion and action plan
in achievement of employability and study skills which related to improve my communication
skills, team work, self management, time management, research skills and problem solving skills
regarding we assigned a group project.
