INTRODUCTION
Academic skills means those set of skills that makes development of academic stability
possible within student's academic year. Such ability leads over gaining experience which leads
towards attaining both professional and education capability within life of student. Such learning
makes tool and resources enhanced which is required by an individual in order to attain growth
and strength. Also goals and objectives is been achieved through these set of skills. As
professionalism and education are interlinked with each other scope of such skills becomes wider
in nature. Things covered within the report based upon short, mid and long term goals. Further
evaluation of development plan has been covered within it.
TASK
a) Definition of personal and professional development
Personal development plan helps in developing of common terms which lead upon step
by step procedure formed. This plan makes personality enhancement achieved through
improvising factors which makes strengthening of individuals capacity and productivity. The
ultimate objective of such plan leads over techniques improvement possible. Personal
development plan makes higher and better position through effectiveness achieved. Also
education enhancement is been done through this plan. Further the process makes over all
development possible of an individual through allowing analysing of factors that plays important
role in leading towards development possible in professional manner.
b) Discuss about short-term goals with three examples in relation to it.
Short terms goals means that kind of goal set to achieve short objective and goals. In this
set time period of 12 months. Under this goal individual attain development of professional and
academic ability with the aim of continuous enhancement of skills (Lee and Chang, 2018). Such
goals helps in achieving task which has been set for day to day purpose. This makes individual
enhance its factors in more effective manner. These goals are based upon certain things which
are explained below:
Easy attainable: These goals has short period of time which makes day to day targets
achieved in more impactful manner. Also specific goals are achieved easily with more
efficiency.

Easy to measure: Such goals are set easily through observation over progress made in
achieving goals and objectives. Through it monthly and weekly progress upon task is
achieved. Under it measuring of goals is done which helps in making sure that daily
purpose of academic integrity is achieved.
Three examples of short term goals is been given as follows:
In this professional knowledge in relation to management and operations is been
identified within an organization (Marinakis and et. al., 2017).
Another example purchasing expensive wallet from salary and savings.
Improvising of writhing skills by enhancing vocabulary.
c) Describe about medium-term goals with three examples from it.
Medium term goals refers to as those goals which has time period from one to three
years. Under this academic skills is been developed by an individual from job and education
perspective. These goals are based upon two main elements that has been given as follows:
Planning: This makes plaining done as per the goals set by an individual in relation to
education and job aspect. Further it makes appropriate factors achieved through proper
framework. Roadmap for Long term: It makes preparation of medium term through making road
map which guides towards goal achievement in more organized manner. It provides
assistance in relation to medium goals through making achievement done in appropriate
way.
Three example of medium term goal has been given as follows:
Trip that is been planned as long vacation (Chen, Li and Lu, 2018).
Purchasing house under name.
Developing of leadership and professional skills within corporate culture.
d) Describe long terms goals with three personal examples
Long term goals they are consider as those goals which are been formed with the aim of
achieving long term success. These goals are based over both academic and professional conduct
to be made regarding development of an individual. In this all aspect related to both professional
and academic year is been covered to attain ultimate end objectives and goals.
