Task1
1.Define the concept of personal and professional development.
Pesonality development is simple words can be referred to as a process of improving
oneself. This can be done in variety of ways that can include employblitiy skills, increasing
awareness and transforming one's weakness into strength. This can enables business managers to
get the most qualified and motivated staffs (Brock and et. al., 2017). Whereas, Professional
development can be stated as improving as well as enhance the capablity of their employees.
This is done by the manage in providing access to opportunity that mainly includes educating
and training the staffs that helps them better understand the job role. In addition to this, it even
increases the morale and enhance the quality of their staffs.
2.Description and discussion of the value of short term goals identifying at least 3 personal
examples
It is important set goals by dividing them into certain duration in order to be successful
in developing one's personality. Short term goals are prepared for a very short period. The short
term goals refer to a very short period to achieve them in near future (Chen and et. al. , 2016.
This period is limited to 3-5 months and assist one self in getting nearer to achieve medium term
and long term goals.
My short term are stated below:
 Improve communication skills
 Become punctual
 To improve quality of work

examples.
Medium term goals can be stated as goals that bridges the gap between day-to day
activities and long term aspirations. These are usually set to be achieved for the period ranging
from 6 to 12 months. These goals offers the benefits of both short term as well long term goals. It
can be set number of times and it is must to monitor them from time to time.

My Medium term goal is as following:
 Gaining experience in research
 Increase in Salary
 Enhances my profession knowledge and skills through certification courses

Long term goal mainly refer to those goal that takes significant time, effort as well as
planning in order to make them achievable (Curristan and et. al. 2017.). This can be explained in
simple term as what all you want to achieve in life in future. This takes a lot of time and efforts.
My long term goals are stated below:

and trustworthiness of information produced.
Creditable can be judged on the basis of 5 criteria stated below:
 Currency: Checks whether the information is up to date (Ingersol and et. al., 2018)
 Coverage: Checks whether the information covers the needs of the topic
 Authority: It states the information about the source of the author mainly mainly
concentrating on their knowledge and experience
 Accuracy: It checks how accurate the information is through verification.(Lee and et.
al. ., 2016)
