As a nurse, I have many personal values that effects on the values and principles of support in
health and social care. These values helps me in addressing the patient more effectively and
efficiently.
 Equity Right: I believe in addressing patient equally irrespective of their culture, religion
and nationality (Calderhead, Denicolo and Day, 2012). The equal right helps in treating
patient equally and efficiently. It helps in development of growth of organisation and also
impacts on the values and principles and supports in health and social care effectively and
efficiently.
 Diversity: I believe in workforce diversity and love to work with different people in the
organisation. It helps in developing of knowledge, skills and competencies in me. Thus, it
impacts on the values and principles and supports in health and social care effectively and
efficiently.
 Confidentiality: As a nurse, I believe in maintaining confidentiality and privacy in the
organisation. It helps in effective growth and development of the organisation and
promotes environment of trust and belief in the organisation. Confidentiality is very

 Work Health and Safety: I believe in following rules and regulation regarding work

all the rules and regulations, I will be able to treat the patient as well as help other health care

professionals, I have formulated specific strategies and polices that helps in improving my
performance efficiently and effectively. Now, I can treat patient easily and consider their issues
