INTRODUCTION
There are certain set of skills that are required in order to perform any task. One needs to
have self evaluation so that they get to known the areas in which improvement is required and
the type of roles that has to be played can be performed. Present reports is based on the culture of
Romania. This covers personal values in health and social care setting and comparing own initial
response based on personal values. Lastly, it also includes ways to overcome tension and
conflicts between own personal values.
1. Personal values in health and social care setting and comparison of own initial response based
on personal values
Personal values can be determined to be the skills, ability, capabilities, trust factor, belief,
etc. It is important to make sure that there are certain set of skills that are possessed by
individuals, only then it becomes possible deliver high quality services (Blais, Hayes and Erb,
2015). As a care workers I focus on develop my skills and capabilities so that I will be able
understand Romanian patients and developed them with high quality services. Self evaluation is
done so that areas in which I lack are identified and accordingly strategies are developed.
2. Own personal culture and experiences that would influence the support that will be given to
service users as per the case
As per the type of culture that is being followed in Romania, people do not rust unknown
persons. For this purpose, it is important for me to have type of nature in which I have effective
communication so that I will be able to develop trust among individuals. The rate of interaction
that Romanian have is low as it developed upon the time that is being spend ( Stiglitz and
Rosengard, 2015). As per the experience that is developed with different type of people who
were provided with care related services.
3. Legislations and policies and procedures in the workplaces that affect service users
As per the type of legislations that has to be followed, it is essential to make sure that safe
practices that are followed and dignity in care should be promoted. As per the type of values I
care, it is important that I have proper knowledge about the care that has to be delivered. As per
the policies, all the information that is provided by patient need to be effectively considered and
only the person who is authorised should be considered (Makai, Brouwer and Nieboer, 2014). As

per the procedure, it is important as a care worker to follow the instructions that are given by
professional and work as per the requirement of patient. There is negative impact over values
when these are not effectively followed.
4. Ways overcome tensions and conflict between personal values and others
In order to reduce the rate of tension and conflicts type of situation. It is important to take
time to understand the main cause due to which conflict situation has raised (Dransart, Voélin
and Elena, 2017). Time management strategy like prioritization should be followed so that rate
of tension can be reduced. Situation should be analysed and appropriate steps should be taken to
overcome them.
