INTRODUCTION
Every business organisation desire effective success and outcomes. The firm success are
only in the hand of personnel’s. If company have skilled and quality employees then it will easily
achieve its predetermined objective. Therefore, corporation required skilled and quality
workforce. In order to improve the personality and professionalism of employees, firm should
render and organise effective training and development programs and personality development
activities so as employees can learn the criteria of effective work. Health and social; care
organisation is continuously growing and it have lots of positive changes occurs in the recent
year. In this sector, the main objective of organisation is to render effective and supportive
services to patients so as they can easily overcome their health care issues and disability. Further,
service provider and health experts should needs to develop such quality and skill through which
they can perform in an effective manner at health and social care organisation. In this project
report, the principles and culture effects on the health and social care organisation has been
addressed. In addition to this, how individual experience and culture can influence the role in
supporting users of service also discussed in this report.
Task 1
1.1
In health and social care organisation, the major objective is to provide an effective heath
care services to patients so as they can recover their health issues and disability. Being a service
provider in the health and social care organisation, give effective contribution in order to achieve
objective is my first priority. In order to render excellent and quality services to patients, service
providers and health care experts requires an effective skills, knowledge, ability and skill.
Personal value and principle largely affect individual personality and his professionalism at
workplace. Every individual have their own personal value and principles which reflect their
personality (Hadar and Brody, 2013). According to their value and principles they interact with
peoples and perform at workplace. It can be said that personal value is a beliefs which reflect the
culture. It can be show by their needs and desire and what they care about most in their life.
Personal value can be influenced by the internal and external components. On the other hand
value reflect by the individual requirement mean what they find important and gives value in
their life which shapes their attitude, behaviour in each situation they encounter. Principles mean

the attributes in the individual personality which can guide them in developing a positive
parenting strategy bases on their personal belief and value system. Personal value and principle
can influence service provider and health expert’s personality in health and social care
organisation in following manner-ï‚· Equal rights- As per this principles, service providers and health experts should treat all
patients as a equal manner. It mean they should give equal facility and service to patients
according to their requirement. There should not any kind of discrimination on the basis
of their age, sex, gender, culture, region and personal reference (Kucherov and
Zavyalova, 2012).
ï‚· Confidentiality- As per this concept, all patients in health and social care have right to
secure their personal information and detail. Therefore, service provider should not
disclose their information without their permission (Erickson, Noonan and McCall,
2012). Further they have not right to give patients information and personal detail to
someone for any other purpose.

In health and social care organisation, the main objective is to provide effective health care
services and treatment so as they can recover their disability and health issues. Health care
experts should treat with patients in such manner so as they can feel comfortable and safe with
them. If they feel comfortable and safe with service experts then they will able to share their
health issues with them in an appropriate manner. Moreover, for this propose personal culture
largely significant. Culture is a value and beliefs through which individual can show their
personality at workplace (Long and Ismail, 2012). Culture can reflect by individual interaction,
appearances, behaviour, attitudes, beliefs etc. It can be said that Culture refers to the cumulative
deposit of awareness, knowledge, importance, beliefs, thought, attitude, and special relation
requisite by a group of individuals in the courses of generation through individual and group
determined. Health and social care organisation should adopt the effective working environment
and culture so as patients can feel safe and comfortable at workplace. Further personal culture
also refers to the language and beliefs so if patients belongs from different culture or region then
their language will also different Therefore, service provider should learn all types of language in
order to deal with different cultural people (Ulrich and et. al., 2013). In addition to this effective
culture also aid in keep effective and healthy relationship between services providers and service

users. On the other hand personal experience also reflect individual personality. A well
experienced service expert can provide effective and appropriate treatment to service user as
compare fresher service provider. Further a well experienced service provide knows the criteria
to deal with patients and how to treat in the major disability or health issue as compare to fresher.
So it can be said that personal experience matter and influence the services at health and social
care organisation. Experience can boost service expert's potential and ability of working so as
they can provide excellent services (File and et.al., 2015). Experience assist them to handle
higher responsibility and opportunity This may directly positively influence service users health
and services, further this may aid in recovering high level disability and problem. Every person
should implement innovative and creative ideas in daily life and work. So this influences
innovative thinking of people. This approach simplifies the process of handling adverse situation
and increases the chance of learning new things. It plays a very significant role in lifelong
learning.

In health and social care organisation, the main objective is to provide effective health
care services and care to patients so as they can recover their health issues and disability. For this
purpose, organisation should consider some new development and changes which may reflect
positive improvement on the health care experts as well as service users (Wallace and Masters,
2010). New development such as training and development for service provider, new research,
code of conduct, legislation, regulatory framework, working policies and practices will assist to
the organisation manager to bring the various new changes and improvement in the health and
social care organisation (Albion and et.al., 2015). There are various new development and
changes which can bring the positive impact on the working in health and social care
organisation. These are as follows-
ï‚· The first and important changes can bring by provide the training and development
programs to service providers and heath experts. With assistance of these programs they
can learn the new criteria, skills, ability, knowledge and methods to perform in an
effective manner at workplace (Shuss, Lockhart. and Davis, 2015). Further they can
learn the new methods to deal with different cultural and regional people. Moreover by
this training, health experts can learn new languages which assist in dealing with different
cultural service users.

ï‚· Health and social care manager should adopt some important legislative actions and
regulatory frameworks which has developed by government. As per the health and social
care act 2008 special and effective treatment and care should render to all service users so
as they can recover their health issues and disability (Moon, .2006). Further according to
this act, organisation should not adopt any discrimination action with any service user. It
means all patients have equal right to use facilities and services according to their
requirements. Therefore, service experts should treat all patients as equal, there should
not any kind of discrimination on the basis of personal relation, age, genders and culture.
ï‚· Organisation can adopt the online process in order to contact with service users. With
assistance of this development in the working, patients can contact with doctors or
service provides by use of internet (Smith and et. al., 2007). There is no need to go
hospital by use of this changes in the health and social care organisation.
ï‚· The organization also gets benefit from self-managed leaning. If a worker improves his
technical knowledge then he can easily handle new machines and tactics in the
production and other process. It is beneficial to advance the overall working effectively
and make sure that objectives are being accomplished.

In health and social care organisation, Service providers and experts play a very crucial
role in order to recover service user’s disability and provide effective health services and
cares. If service providers have excellent skill, knowledge and ability then they will perform
in an effective manner at workplace (Mandl, 2011). In order to increase individual personal
skills a and knowledge, learning style is very significant. Honey and Mumford learning style
will very suitable for service experts in health and social care organisation. This theory
improves the attitudes and personality of experts at workplace. Following are four major
style of this theory-
Reflector- This types of people can learn new skills and ability by attending various
activities such as interview, interview, feedback from other, self analysis, paired
discussion and personality questionnaire. This learning style help me in conduct group
discussion, so

Theorist- This types of people can learn new things and skill by use of new models,
concepts, facts and figures. Further case study helps them to understand the theory behind
the actions. They can learn from various activities such as story reading, models,
statistics, background information etc.
Pragmatist- This types of people believes in the practical life. They like to learn by
practical actions (Genkeer and et. al., 2012). They can adopt the activities such as
problem solving, group discussion, case study solving etc.
Activist- This types of people learn by using various activities such as brainstorming,
group discussion and role play. This type of learner has opportunity to interactive
learning, group work opportunity and communication and virtual classrooms (Hurst and
Patterson, 2014).
As per the above discussion it has been ascertained that Honey Mumford learning style is very
effective for learners who want to improve their personality and professional. As per this concept
i observe that I am activist types of Lerner who learn by observing, solving questionnaire, self
analysis, period discussion etc. This learning style assist me in learning by surrounding
environment. With assistance of this style I can learn the skills, ability and knowledge about the
working in health and social care organisation. In order to progress my personality and
professionalism I have attended a range of activities. Following are some activities and courses
which helped me in developing my personality in health and social care organisation-
ï‚· From my previous placement experience, i have learnt the time managemenmt skill in the
health and social carre organisation.With assistance of this skill in can managae large
numbers of patients at a single time.
ï‚· In my collage days, i have attended the personality development classes, workshops,
seminars etc through these i can have learnt the skills of communication and
coordination.
