assignment will be based on a single skill which is considered as important from the perspective
of an individual. The use of theories will also be done in order to make improvement in the level
of skills so that better and efficient accomplishment of different tasks provided to them could be
done.

The skill which according to me is the most important for an individual is
Communication Skill. It refers to the skill which is used in order to make transfer of facts, ideas,
feelings, emotions as well from one person to another and makes sure that the transfer has been
done in an understandable way. In other words, it can be said that the receiver should receive and
understand the message in the same form in which the senders has sent it to the receiver. It is
identified with the significance of an ability or information in the life of a person. There are
various aptitudes and skills which encourages a person to accomplish the objectives and goals
which an individual needs to achieve in their very own life. The distinction will be made in the
view of various individuals with respect to the significance of abilities throughout their life. Be
that as it may, as indicated by me, the significance of communication skills is of most extreme
significance in a person's life. There could be various purposes behind this however for me, the
explanation is likewise extraordinary. For the accomplishment of a task, the commitment of
workers is significant and the representatives will have the option to play out their given

other, it is important to have communication skill for them. With the help of this skill, an
individual will be clear with what is required for them to do. So the communication in between
them will be right and it will be possible for the employees to understand the right things in right
way. This consideration will help in making things clear and also make employees to perform the
provided tasks in an efficient manner so that it could not impact upon their working and will also
provide effective and good results because they are clear with what they are required to do.
So there are numerous benefits of communication skill out of which some are explained
earlier. With the help of this, it is possible to make improvement in the overall processes and
working ways of an individual. As it impacts upon the time, efficiency of an individual working
in an organisation. In personal lives as well, communication skill plays an important role such as
resolving personal conflicts with the help of which understanding could be created in between
each other and the reason of the conflict will also be made clear (Moss, 2017).
This skill is important in an individual because it provides a person with several other
benefits as well which are important for the growth and development of an individual. These
benefit includes confidence, dedication, improvement in efficiency which could be created with
the help of their own efforts made by them in order to make improvement in their
communication skills. It is because as they will do the work in right way so this will provide
them with good and effective results this will impact positively on the level of their interest and
dedication towards the work as they know about that work and are also efficient in the
performance of that work. So it will not be difficult for the individual to make the completion of
work in an easier way because they are known with the process in a clear way that will impact
positively on the growth and performance. Additionally, it will also positively impact upon their
level of confidence and their specialisation as well which they have in the work they are
provided with.

following theory:
Johari Window: The following theory can be defined as the technique with the help of which it
is made possible to make improvement in the overall relationships and understand better to their
relationships with themselves and others as well. The development of this theory was done by
Joseph Luft and the application of which was done in self groups and corporate settings as an
important exercise (Riley, 2015). There are different important components which are also said
as the four quadrants or window panes with the help of which it is possible to make improvement
in the overall communication process of an individual which have been provided as under:
Open/self-area or arena: In the following window, the discussion has been made about the
attitudes, behaviour of an individual, his emotions, feelings, skills with the help of which an
individual is known by other people as well. It is the area where the processes of the
communications are completed and it becomes more effective to make implementation of their
effective communication in between two or more people so that it could become possible to
understand properly about what they each other wants to convey with one another (Siddiq,
Scherer and Tondeur, 2016).
Blind Spot or Blind Self: Here, the discussion has been made about the information which says
that there is some information about yourself which is not known to you but others have proper
knowledge about it. This thing happens when other individuals makes interpretation about you in
a different ways than what is expected.
Hidden Area or Facade: In the third component, the consideration taken is related to the
informations which is hidden to you and is also hidden to others as well. It could be related to the
personal information of an individual which is not provided to an individual. It is related to the
hidden facts, feelings, ideas of other individuals which impacts upon the feelings and emotions
of an individual.
Unknown Area: In the last component of Johari Window, the consideration is taken related to
the information which is unaware to yourselves as well as to the other people as well. It includes
about the informations, feelings, facts to which it is not known to the others as well as is not in
the concern of yours as well.
So it has been said that with the help of application of this theory in the working of an
organisation or an individual in his/her own life, it will be possible to make improvement in the

and objectives of their organisation in an efficient and effective manner (Xin and Leonard,
2015).

From the above assignment, it has been concluded that communication skill is one of the
important skills in the life of an individual with the help of which it will be possible to make
improvement in the life. In addition to this, it has also been concluded that there are different
theories and models with the help of which it will be possible to make improvement in the
overall processes of their communication and will also provide future prospects to make
improvement in the level of communication. Lastly, the conclusion has been drawn about the use
of communication skills as it is important not only in the life of an individual both in the personal
