INTRODUCTION
Every human being has some kind of interest or a skill in which he precede his career. To
gain the command or some kind of mastery he joins some coaching lessons or lectures lesson so
that they can have full knowledge about the field. Likewise I also have some skill and passion for
Digital Marketing. Growing trends in the world of digitalization has attracted my consciousness
towards it. This report discusses about my skills which I can generated by the myself. The report
includes the process which I needed to undergo for attaining the skills which I wanted to have in
myself.
THE QUALITY
Since the evolution of digital world and from seeing its increasing growth, I started to
attract towards it. In my secondary schooling days I researched about the digital courses. From
my research I got to know about the Digital marketing. When I researched more about it I got to
know more that it is to educate the audience about any particular topic, product, service or any
kind of message. Two things grab my attention which I considered was my favorites that is
marketing and creativity. In digital marketing a person needs to find the new and creative way to
market its product or service whichever he is offering (Brown and Militello, 2016). And since
the childhood I have a great interest in performing the activities which are very much creative
and innovative in nature. The increase in boom into this field is also yet another reason to get
pursue into the same. The believe that I have the capability to think very creative and out of the
box as I always tries to perform my activities in new and creative ways. Whenever I faced a
challenge I always assume the new and creative way which is effective and efficient to get me
out of that particular situation. This has enabled me to think creative into my day to day
activities. Whereas I also have noticed that I have a very fine talking quality to convince another
person. In the job role like marketing where your vocal plays a major role, has shown me the
way to perform the marketing activities. To work more upon my talking and speaking styles, I
watched various types of videos for marketing and how to talk with customer; these videos did
help me in gaining some information about my talking styles.
After completing my school, I made my mind very clear that I am gifted with couple of skills
which are creativity and my speaking style. I have decided to flourish these two skills at my level
best and precede my further career on this. Just after I made my mind to pursue for digital
marketing I then joined the certified course for digital marketing. In that course I flourish my
creative skills and try to bring more of my creative and innovative ideas at front. From that
course I learned from the beginning about digital marketing, starting with creating a web page
through HTML coding (Coenders and Verhoef, 2019). Later my level for the course gets to an
increase to Search engine Optimization where I learned about how I can make my website more
visible to the people. Also I grab the skills for marketing and how to pitch a customer or a client
and convince them about our offered service and product.

QULAITY AS A STRENGTH
It’s always been said that when a person perform the activities of his interest, he does it
with great excellence. I have realized that I love to perform the activities which are creative and
it sounds fun to me. That’s why I have decided to go into this digital marketing field. I have tries
to convert my quality of doing marketing very well and thinking out of the box is my skills and
gives me happiness. I joined the required courses for digital marketing so that I can convert this
quality of mine into my strength. I have observed that to perform the marketing activity one
needs to have an extrovert attitude and behavior. He should have the courage to talk to some
random people and make the sale for the business. To make sure about my personality types I did
MBTI test. MBTI test stands for Myers briggs Types indicator test in which an individual needs
to give the answers about some of the questions and from this given answer the test concludes
the true personality about that individual. This test enable a person to introspect himself and get
to know more about his personality trait and type so that he can work accordingly in himself for
being an effective and efficient person (Desimone and Pak, 2017). According to this MBTI test
there are in total 16 types of personalities among which one a person has. And these such
personalities are shown in table below:
Here, E refers to Extraversion. Extraversion is a person who is more outward and talkative.
They have the tend to work with ideas and they think very out loud. They are the people who are
consider as a centre of attraction.
I refers to Introversion. Introversion are the people who generally are very reserved. They don’t
not preferred to talk much to the people and they loved to live their lives in private. These people
prefer to observe than to be a center of attraction.
S refers for Sensing. These people are very practical and believes what the actual reality is. To
provide the practical ways to get the things done and they prefers to keep things very specific.

N refers to Intuition. Such people have the capacity of sensing the things. They came up with
the possibilities about how things could be. They also observe and focus upon the big picture and
they enjoys their own ideas. These people prefer to portray the things in a poetic way.
T refers to thinking. Such people make any decisions in a reasonable and rational manner. They
always choices a logical way.
F refers to Feeling. They make decisions according to what their inner feelings go to say about
the topic and follow the decisions (Gast, Schildkamp and van der Veen, 2017).
J refers to Judging. These people like schedules and make their own rules and regulations. They
also prefer to stand by upon all.
P refers to Perceiving. These people are full of surprises and always look for extra time after
completion of schedules.
From the personalities presented above, I have observed that I have a personality of
ENTJ. As I am very much extrovert, I can talk to random and have the courage to put my
thoughts and opinions in front of others. I also believes in Intuitions and always carry the
activities or any step after searching my inner feelings. On the other hand I take any decisions
only after the logical analyses and reasoning of the situation and the loves to make the schedules.
I not only make the schedules for myself but also try to stand upon it so that I can complete my
task at time. The quality of extraversion has given me strength for pursuing the marketing skills
and my quality for thinking has given me strength to think out of the box and creative.
What attributes, behavioral preferences and values underpin this strength?
Behavior refers to a predefined action which an individual take with regard to a particular
situation or the particular topic. Very field or a passion requires a particular set of behavior. For
example my digital marketing field also required a particular behavior or an attitude which I
suppose to carry forward with myself. Likewise there are plenty of values which also needs to
follows when to enter in to a particular profession. Values are the factors or the strong believes
and way of thinking which guilds our actions. A person’s actions are bound within the values he
or she carries with his self. Therefore any person when he starts or follows a passion he has some
values which he carries or believes to follow for that passion (Johnson and Golombek, 2016).
These values can be achievement, spirituality, and concerns for others, creativity, responsibility
and the so on.
For example as demanded by my profession, the following attributes can be necessary which are:
Creativity: A person should be creative enough that he should be able to think out of the box and
he uses his creativity level so that he can market the message or the product at different level of

platforms which can cover a wide range of audience. The mode which the person follows up
should be very effective that it should provide some rate of return.
Perspective: While performing the marketing activity, a person needs to have a good perception
to think the things from other angles also. When the things are seen from other angles, the more
open minded and wide the person would become. When the marketing activity is performed with
a view of others like audience, it can perform with more ease. For example if a person knows
about the site which a customer or a person visit the most and then advertise the ad of that
product or service at that site would ultimately help that person to gain more and more attention
from the people. So having the perspective of all sites and angles is very much necessary.
Concern about others: In such head, the marketing ads or the digital marketing activity that is
being prepared about he made with the concern of people. Any kind of advertisement made
should not hurt the feelings, beliefs and values of any committee or person. The content which is
made for the audience should be free from any controversial sigh.
All these values and attitudes help a person in making the decisions accordingly. For evaluating
the values a person carries in him, a test called value inventory test is conducted. This test
enables to find out the level and types of values a person has in him (Kennedy, 2016). In this a
person rate himself from the scale to 1 to 5 where 5 means the highest and 1 denotes the lowest.
For example if a sentence is “ being liked by others” then the person needs to scale it from 1 to 5,
if he feels that he is being liked by everybody then he needs to give him 5 but if he feels that he
is being liked by some of the people then 3 or of he feels that he is being liked by no body and he
needs to give him 1.
Challenges in workshops exercises.
When to go for any passion, there are numerous of hurdles which needs to get pass.
These hurdles will lead a person towards it ultimate goals. For example pitching to some client
or to some customer also can be unsuccessful in initial days, which it was that way. At the
initials days the ways for posting ads and pitching to the client was not that effective. It did cause
me to see failure at times. It is the true believe in self which could help a person in passing all
such hurdles or problems. Some of the hurdles which I faced are as:
Problem in pitching; In my initial days I faced a huge problem in giving the right and correct
pitch to the customer or client. I did face various failures also because I got failed in convincing
the customer (Korthagen, 2017). That time I realized that in need to pit a lot of more efforts into
my skills so that I can be master in it.
Lack of required creativity: In the initial days of my career also, I faced a lot of difficultly in
posting an attractive ad at the digital platform which can grab many people’s attention. This may
be because of the tension or level of competition which I faced from other that was stopping
being me and think out loud.

There is a test called as self efficacy test. This test is a 8 item measure test which is used to
evaluate a person believes for achieving its goals despites of all the hurdles. This model helps in
evaluating the various functional areas such as family, intellectual, educational, professional, life,
moral and the so on (Kyndt and et. al., 2016). The questionnaires are prepared in such a way that
it comes with a result about a person self efficacy. In that test various situational questions are
also provided to a person and accordingly he is being judged about his self potential and caliber.
Through this test the person gets to know about his true capability for achieving its objective or
goals by passing all the hurdles they comes in way.
Contradictions evident
As mentioned above, it has very good communication skills which help me in pitching
others but sometimes these strengths have contradict my expectations. Some of these experiences
may include:
Over confidence: It is happened so many times that my pitch in front of the client or the
customer gets to heavy that it depicts a bad impression over the opposite party. Too much talking
and puts a very bad impression over mu customers and that deal or purchase gets fail. From this
incident I realize that there should be some particular time for talking, it should not talk too much
that the client loose his interest in between.
Plagiarism: As I am into a field in which I need to think of my own content and I need to come
up with some new ideas (Matherson and Windle, 2017). I sometime get lack of ideas and then
searches for the same at internet or some other people’s idea. Taking some others people idea or
concept is an act of plagiarism which does not show case one’s creative level. This also puts a
bad impression upon a person’s image as the other would start questioning about your own
potential and caliber.
Benefit of quality into future
As I believe that I have a quality for communication skills and creative thinking, these
two qualities would help me exploring my area of interest that is Digital marketing. With these
skills I would flourish into my field and take a job where my gained knowledge for digital
marketing will get use for the organisation and also for me (Parsons and et. al., 2019). After
gaining some strong experience and mastery into the skill, I would like to open my own business
for Digital marketing where I would take the contract from governments and from various big
companies and do digital marketing for them. To open a business of my own is my dream work
to do and these skills would help me to achieve it by providing me the necessary strengths and
support which I might need.

Conclusion
This report discusses about the strength and skills of an individual which would helped
him in attaining its goals and objectives for future. For example I have the quality of good
communication skills and ability to think out of the box and creative. By evaluating these skills I
have decided to become a digital marketer (Yoo, 2016). Digital marketing field comprises of all
the skills which I have and would be require becoming one. The report also includes the
experiences and how these qualities would work as strength.
