What techniques and practices were effective in helping you learn and
achieve?
There were several techniques and practices that helped me to learn and
achieve. These techniques were feedback, communicate with others, past
experience as well as, SWOT assessment of myself. I have observed that
feedback was supportive for me to understand my strength and
weaknesses as I can gain my opportunities in the future. I have also
addressed that communicate with others was also supportive for me to
learn and achieve as I can develop new knowledge from others. Past
experience was also helpful for understanding the challenges that I faced
as it would help me to overcome these challenges in the future (Perry,
2017).
A SWOT analysis was also helpful for me to understand my strength,
weakness, opportunity, and threats. It aids me to improve my strength
and opportunity and overcome my weaknesses and threats. I was used
different practices to learn and achieve such as developing smart
objectives and regular assessment of my target. I would apply these
techniques in the future for the accomplishment of my targeted goal in a
set time (Sangster, 2017).
Were there any factors that you would consider a hindrance to your
learning experience?
There were some factors that I would consider a hindrance to my learning
experience. These factors were lack of interest in increasing new
knowledge and lack of articulation of thought. In this way, I can state that
I show disinterest in gaining new knowledge that was highly affected by
my learning experience. I have also lack of articulation of thought because
of lack of vocabulary competencies and listening skills. Hence, it creates
hindrance in my learning experience (Grant, 2017). These factors were
challenging for me in terms of improving my career. I feel that my
learning experience was not good because of these factors. These factors
that not only affected my learning experience but also, created
complexities in attaining the target in the specified time period.
Throughout the PPD courses, I have enhanced my understanding that
Kolb’s learning cycle could be used to improve the learning experience
(Trorey, & Cullingford, 2017). In the future, I would practice some
strategies to mitigate these issues.
How might these factors be managed more effectively in the future?
There are some strategies that help me for overcoming the above factors.
These strategies are motivational strategies for increasing the interest
with respect to gaining new understanding. I will also attend the
conference and seminars in order to expand my vocabulary, speak on
issues through which, I am able to develop more clarity to others and also
help in adding the discussion. I would apply some significant approach
that would be effective for managing my work in the future. These

approaches are time management strategy and an effective
communication strategy. This would be beneficial for improving my
personal and professional career in the future (Patton, Parker, & Tannehill,
2015).
What are your plans for continuing your personal and professional
development in the future?
I made a plan for continuing making improvement in personal and
professional development in the future. I would conduct the research and
present findings of research to others in order to assess whether there is a
need to make improvement. I would also improve my articulation of
thought by using the above strategy in the upcoming 6 months. I would
also improve my interest in learning new knowledge in the upcoming 3
months. This would be beneficial for enhancing my skills and
competencies in the future. Along with this, this skill and competency
would enable me to attain my objectives in the future. I would also attend
the skill-based training program because it is supportive for learning the
theoretical data as well as, obtaining the feedback on their performance
(Trorey, & Cullingford, 2017). I would develop a clear goal; it would be
easier for me to manage my personal and professional development plan.
I would also outline my strength areas for making enhancement. I would
also measure my progress for attaining the goals as it would lead to
making continue personal and professional development in the future. I
would also discuss my career plan with my tutor as if there would be an
issue; he will help me to overcome it. This would also lead me to make
personal and professional development in the future (Jaeger, 2018).
