There are many learning styles that can be utilized for learning skills and abilities for
personal and professional development. There are basically four types of learning styles
and it includes visual, audio, verbal, logical, solitary, kinesthetic etc.

Visual learning styles: with the use of the visual styles the pictures, image, maps and
colours are used for the organizing information and communication with others.
Objects are visualized and these types of learners prefer to see the information and
visualize the relationships and connection between ideas. This learner uses graphics
and charts (Altieri et al., 2015).
Auditory style: These learners prefer hearing information and data rather than reading
things and seeing the visual information. They like to rehearse information out loud to
remember the information (Truong, 2016).
I use both auditory and visual learning styles for learning new material. Visual And

The use of the telephone or I Pad makes me learn new skills and gain information in one
way or other which can be seen in the following manner:
Mobile phone: New mobile phone has also made me understand new features and
technology. I have used the new mobile phone in which there are lots of apps and
technologies that I have used for the very first time. The cellphone or mobile phone has
helped me to learn various skills and gaining new information. The use of the internet
on my phone has helped me to learn new skills and gain new knowledge. I have
browsed many information and data from the various search engines. I have also
installed much application that boosts and enhance my skills and knowledge that are
related to my professional career (Bull, 2015).
I pad: The use of new I pad has also made me understand and learn new things and
skills. There are many new things and applications and features that I have tried for the
very first time. I pad acts as the revolutionary and magical device that is used for
browsing the web page, sending and reading mail and watching videos and music
listening, reading ebooks and playing games. I have learned communication skills and
directing skills from the reading of E-books. I have also learnt the basics of email
reading and writing. With the help of E-books, I have gained more knowledge related to
my profession and I have used this knowledge in my career life. I have used I pad for
only six months and afterwards, I have not used it for learning new skills and
knowledge (Bull, 2015).
After one year I have skip to use I pad and mobile phone for reading the e-books. I have
also skipped reading the instructions.

techniques that help in managing own growth and learning. The focus of CPD is only on
results and the advantage to learn from this can apply in the professional world. I have
identified and develop many skills and abilities during my work. I have used the tool for
the self-assessment during my work. It is the ongoing procedure for maintaining,
developing and documentation of the professional skills (Patton et al., 2015).
I have identified my current needs with the help of a skills audit. I have also analyzed
the feedback I have received from my seniors and colleagues. I have then prepared the
list for the improvement of the skills and knowledge that are identified. I have planned
and carry out the development activities for the development of the skills and abilities
that are identified in the development plan (Rubens et al., 2018).
During work, I have started watching and observing seniors, managers and directors so
that I can develop my inner skills and can identify my inner strength for overcoming my
weakness. I have managed to learn new skills and abilities with the application of the

read e-books for the enhancement of my skills and knowledge.
