INTRODUCTION
It is very essential for an employee is to do learning and developing skills so that they can
doing work in safely, lawfully and effectively. This can be connected with personal and
professional development due to this its major motive is to manage learning and growth of staff
members within their career. This assist not only for their single person but also for an
organisation need to make growth. It is generally involved with process in which employees can
self observe themselves then where they required to analyse their personal skills and desires after
that making improvement to grab opportunities in their career growth. This project is represented
and evaluating various concepts that are utilised for self managed learning, different types of
lifelong learning that can be achieved. In addition to this, there are certain advantages which has
been come with the help of self managed learning (Calderhead, Denicolo and Day, 2012). In this
report, analysis of personal skills and abilities need to gain opportunities for future needs and
demands of other employees. This will also included all the major procedures and functions
which are need for formulating plans and development plan that should be designed in this
project.

1.1 Recognising various self managed learning approaches
Self managed learning refers as that learning where single person try to examine whole
skills, abilities and learning required without the assistance of others. Firstly they identify their
learning needs then they can easily successfully define that what are their goals of learning and
what are the resources will be used for achieving such goals and targets. There are various
approaches which are used in self managed learning that are as under: Online courses- Internet can be determined as emerging method of learning. This will
comprise limitless knowledge of different topics. There are large number sources which
are accessible on internet form that an employee learn new things and develop their skills
and knowledge (Cleary and et. al., 2011). Seminars and conferences- For attending seminars and conferences assist in increasing
skills and knowledge from different experts. It will provide various opportunities to
workers for learning new things which they have not heard before.

to this an individual are able for communicate with each other in all over the world. For
this, people can learn or acquire new things which help in gaining skills and knowledge
