Self-managed learning is an effective and dynamic process by which individual people find
different and unique ways of learning things. In learning managed learning, there is a major role

business strategy and options to the self-managed learning. The self-managed approaches include
seminar, conference, internet and social networks. There are ample of approaches of self-
managed learning that can be used by employees at Travelodge Hotel (Williams, et al, 2011).
Seminars and conference: It is one of the significant approaches of self-managed learning that
helps the people to learn the several things about the personality. With the support of the
conference and seminars, the individual makes a speech that entails their personal experience,
knowledge and exchanging in the public that supports in attaining the enhancement and
improvement in the personality, potential and personal skills. By using this approach, Travelodge
Hotel can enhance and improve the abilities and skills of the staff at the workplace because
people share their knowledge and experience through seminars and conferences (Cairns and

analyzing the skills and abilities of the workers. SWOT analysis is an effective way to analyze

Hotel. By conducting SWOT analysis, the people can improve and judge the strengths and

keeps the people to get stimulated and satisfy. It is essential to have the objective and aims that

Being a manager, I will manage and handle the workers to promote lifelong learning at
Travelodge Hotel by motivating and maintaining strong relationship with them. I will conduct
training and development sessions, seminars and conferences to motivate and inspire the staff for
improving and encouraging the learning and knowledge. I will be carried the goals and
objectives with respect to further instruction yet significant that there is a risk and threat to me,
the departure and a resultant absence of money. I will work as a facilitator to improve and
augment against this barriers and shortcoming attempting to guarantee that I got sufficient rest.
Furthermore, I can do some physical initiative and activity to aides reduces or minimizes anxiety
(Kukulska-Hulme, 2012).

decision making and attribute. Generally, self-managed learning is interconnected with the

with the self-managed learning are discussed below.
Communication skills: It is one of the unique advantages that are attained by the self-managed
learning. For instance, the self-managed learning provides the confidence and moral of the
workers by maintaining open and direct relationship with workers at Travelodge Hotel. In the
independent employee who is working in the hotel has to present the idea and thoughts in front
of the other workers of the company and further communicate the outcome of the procedure that
is followed by them. Thus, communication skills and abilities that is written and oral both are

individual as well. Another weak area is the strategy information, as I have worked in several
companies and I was further encountering the same issue with the strategy formulation. All these
activities and needs required to improve and enhance by me effectively and efficiently. The
competitive benefit, positive working environment and high sale can be maintained and used by
the strategy formulation and it helps to minimize the adverse impact on the company (Smith, et

issues. From the given scenario it is noted that I am friendly and amicable in nature and try to
maintain the strong relationship with other workers that makes me happy and comfortable at the
workplace. The strong conduct, standard and respecting each other culture and value also
reinforce the relationship between the workers. Thus, the team development and work can be
getting if each and every worker of the company respecting each other norms and culture. In
addition, one of the unique reasons behind strengthen my cooperation and communication skills
are the taking the part in the team developing and conduct tasks as it promotes and improves the
skills for the individual and company too.
There are several opportunities inside and outside the hotel. The outside the organization,
effective customer relationship and communication is one of the biggest opportunities that will
help me in improving and enhancing the skills, competencies and knowledge. In inside the hotel,
I can improve my coordination, interpersonal and technical skills by following the rules and
policies prescribed by the leaders (Al Ariss, et al, 2014).
