Personal and professional development is the beneficial part for individual and company
as well. It is the process through which employees can identify their shortcomings and can work
to improve their skills (Wilton, 2013). It can support them in getting good career opportunities
and performing ell in the organization. Personal and professional development plan support the
person in achieving their goal and gaining success.
Current study will discuss various approaches of self managed learning and learning
styles. Furthermore, it will explain ways through which life long learning can be encouraged. It
will define benefits of self managed learning for individual and organization as well. In addition,
report will explain various work based problems and learning styles to overcome these issues.
Personal audit will be done and to minimize the weakness personal and professional
development plan will be prepared in this study.

1.1 Approaches of self managed learning and learning styles
Learning is the systematic process that helps the person in improving their skills and
gaining success in their carer. Self managed learning is the tool that helps the person in their own
learning and making sound decisions (Siebert and Costley, 2013). There are many approaches of
self managed learning. These are explained as below:

good experience of resolving financial issues of the organization. This skill of mine will

technical skill but still I think I face difficulty when new technology come in market. I took
time to understand new software and working on this software. I will have to work on it

fulfil my dream.
