INTRODUCTION
The development of any person mainly depends in skills and behaviour that they show
while working at workplace. This is important for people to analysis their own skills and abilities
which can help to increase the insights that is they are able to manage work or not. This report
mainly based on reflection that states how personal skills and profession skills are related to
business and how they are supportive to attain the business goals (Dunn and Doolittle, 2020). In
other words, the main focus of report is on reflection that I analysed while studying and
preparing the presentation about successful business leader. As shown in task 1 Jeff Bezos is
good business leader who faced many challenges and problems while establishing Amazon. In
duration or preparing report I noticed about my personal skills and professional development
which supported me to complete the research and get success. Moreover, in this report I will use
Gibbs's reflective model for sharing my experience and knowledge.
MAIN BODY
Personal and professional development are two main aspects that a person expects in
themselves for the purpose of completing tasks and managing the good performance. For
working and getting employment anywhere it is required to have employability skills in a person
which can help to deal with problems and accept the changes properly. The employability skills
are those skills which are essential to perform the specific task, maintaining personal qualities as
well as values that are important at any workplace (Choy and Chua, 2019). While preparing PDP
plan and module I analysed my employability skills such as good communication, team work,
ICT, following instruction, patience, leadership, dependability, and adaptability which can help
to attain the good job opportunities and maintain the all activities properly. While preparing the
assignment and collecting information about leadership I analysed that my communication skills
are very good as I communicated easily with senior and other person for gathering information.
These are important skills which are required to work in any field and manage the task. In
working, build an effective team by selecting the skilled and talented people who are able to
manage tasks and work properly. Herein, I assigned the role of team members by analysing their
experience which helped me to complete the research and reach the conclusion timely. This
became important for all, to focus on team and getting the work done from them by managing
and guiding the people effectively. For employment opportunity, adaptability skills are

motivation skills are lacking than others as employees are having different demand and needs
which I was unable to understand and treated all members equally that has caused the problem of
dissatisfaction between employees. For getting success and becoming a good leader motivation
is highly important that should be provided by employer to employees for the purpose of
encouraging employees to work properly and increase the business performance. But I faced this
weakness as many problems have arose in PDP module. I posses a trait of emotional that is a
weak point in workings and has created the problem to select the best one team members. While
running and managing any task there is need to be strong and confident that I am taking right
decision and working well, that can help to lead further and control the activities (Cruess, Cruess
and Steinert, 2019).
By using Gibbs' reflective model I succeeded in analysing my skills and abilities which I
used in developing presentation about leadership and management. I choose the Jeff Bezos who
is the CEO of Amazon as a successful leader because this is a great leader who never loose and
face all threats as opportunities to reach the stairs of success. The Gibbs reflective model is
considering six stages such as description, feeling, evaluation, analysis, conclusion, and action
plan that are as uses to maintain good performance in research.
In Description stage I was confused about choosing a best leader who has overcome the
problems and then I selected Jeff Bezos who performed their functions effectively by managing
all task. In this, I decided to divide the task and research into different sections which can help to
complete on time and manage the performance.
The second stage is Feeling where I thought about research of good leader and how to
complete the assignment (About Gibbs Reflective model, 2018). Herein, I felt good and
confident while preparing the presentation which helped to manage the activities and increase the

Evaluation is the third stage which I used to evaluate the information and research that
was done by me in context to knowing about leaders and their skills which used to establish a
successful business. This is an important stage which can help to evaluate the performance and
state what works and activities remain according to the situation. I used this evaluation step to
analyse and evaluate my experience as it was good and contributes in the situation for solving the
problems. This is a positive point that increased my knowledge and skills in each area and
activities for managing task and performance (Bertelli, 2019).
The next step is Analysis that means what I have learned from the situation. While
preparing PDP plan I realised that my work division and selecting effective team strategy,
worked positively which helped to complete the task and attain the business goals. I enjoyed my
and team working in particular areas that matches with my strength. Other than this, I analysed
that my Numeracy skills is weak as I faced the problem in calculating and mathematical
activities which is required to set the budget and solving mathematical problems. Due to this
weak point I might be face the problem of managing all function and setting the budget for each
activity but my team member helped me a lot who are good in mathematics. I also improved my
Numeracy skills and Statical skills which require to show budget and managing activities
accordingly. Herein, my team member supported me to overcome my problem or skills in which
I lack and helped to improve my learnings (Clemente-Suárez and et. al., 2020).
Conclusion is that step which I used to reached at the conclusion and decision point after

The Action plan is the ending stage that used to do differently in similar situation and
managing the future activities. When I was working for PDP module I talked with all team
members and know their strength which helped to allocate the work between employees and
getting the work done effectively. I was highly confident towards my experience and skills that
support me in every situation and complete the research positive timely. These all activities are
completed with the help to team and personal skills that used to accept the challenges and
problem which has arose in PDP and maintain the good performance (Levy, Bagno, Berger and
Eylon, 2020).
These all activities have increased my knowledge and experience that would help me to
improve future by making effective planning. While studying I understood that good relation
with team and members can help to get new ideas and complete the project on time. By working
with team I have improved my mathematical and calculation skills that will help to set the budget
and work accordingly that would provide me good outcomes. These all skills and experience will
help me out to face all difficulties smoothly and complete the task in certain time by fostering
entrepreneurship.
