Personal and professional development is well defined process through which an
individual engage in the direction of learning to face the challenges and achieve the desired goal.
It is commonly linked with the development needs of personnel as well the whole group (Avalos,
2011). In this context, analysis of personal skills have been that provides a clear understanding
the about the process to followed for the improvement of particular skills. Various objectives are
also developed which provides a direction to the individual for creation of career development
plan. Apart from this, Some specific research models have explained in this report which clearly
reflects the evidence behind the development and improvement of particular skill in order to
achieve success in personal and professional life.
Analysis of management skill for the development.
From the analysis of present job market, it is analysed that there are various opportunities
of job in the multinational and small business enterprise in the human resource department
(Tarrant, 2013). In this scenario, I can clearly define my vision of getting a job as human
resource officer. It is considered as the highly skilled job that requires various competencies and
skills. It is also recognised with the appropriate abilities there is a need of proper knowledge and
attitude to accomplish the job well. The most significant skills which are needed for this post
like decision making, leadership, negotiation, interpersonal and problems solving skills etc
(Moon, 2013). Apart from this, it has been identified that the most significant skill which is
required to perform the job of human resource officer is decision making skills which I have to
manage the work and resolving critical problems within the organization. The main goal behind
the development of this is to get this key position and also to develop a successful career in
human resource management. After the completion of my post graduation in the field of HR,
presently I am pursuing training in a business firms which is regulating in retail sector named
B&M retail. Through self appraisal techniques, I have analysed some of my internal strengths
and weakness.
