Personal and professional development is related to the individual growth and
development. In the health care industry, it is important for every employee to deliver care to
people who are suffering mental and physical issue.
The present report is based on health and social care of Apex Ward which is UK
organisation and it is providing treatment to the patient. The present report is based on the
personal and professional development of health and social care organisation employees and
worker. In addition to this, how they improve their personality and professionalism ha been also
discussed in this report. (Munn-Giddings and winter, 2013). Further, the report discusses about
learning styles which can enhance skills of subordinates of Apex Ward and it also emphasizes on
personal contribution of trainer to improve the potential of nursing staff.

respect are also included in the value. Further, it differs from person to person on the basis of
religion ethnicity and nationality. Apex ward have many staff to deliver treatment to people who
are suffering from poor health. Due to difference in personal value of employees, it creates
barrier at the workplace at the time of providing treatment to the sick people. The major role of
the trainer is to manage personal values of each and every workers of the company and
coordinate with differing attitude. For example, appoint a male nurse to care Muslim and Jew
patient who are getting surgery at hospital because their religion beliefs. So it is crucial for the
manager and trainer to design a suitable program to give them essential tips to behave with
specific religion patients to care of sick people. It helps them to provide better services to the
patients. Different thinking and attitude of staff helps to cooperate the treatment way to patient.
At the workplace, sometime employees face discrimination regarding diversity and sometimes
they are abused by others workers. In the western country, there Muslim and Jews employees
face unfavourable treatment at the workplace. It is essential to provide equal opportunity to all

share patient personal data without their permission. For example- If any group of the
organisation required some personal information and data of patients in order to analyse the
situation of hospital. As per this value, I can not disclose any personal information of any
patient without their permission.
Equal rights- As per this personal value, I treat all service users in an equal manner. I do not
discriminate with any employees on the basis of culture, region, age, gender, occupation etc. For
example, in the health and care organisation, there are Indian and UK clients. Being a service
provider, I always treat person equally. There should not be any kind of discrimination in
providing health care services and treatment to them.

assist me in preparing patient report and their medicine records by using the computer. In
addition to this, by attending lecture, I have learnt skill of communication which assisted me in
communicating with patient in an effective manner at the workplace.
