2PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN
Introduction
It is very much important and necessary for a person to learn and develop their own skills
along with knowledge in order to continue to work legally, safely and obviously effectively. The
main aim of the personal as well as professional development is to help in the management of the
learning and the growth throughout whole of the career (Hawks et al., 2016). I am a first year
student pursuing the Bachelor of Science in nursing. I have an ambition of becoming a great
professional nurse. Many differences are there in becoming a normal nurse or a great
professional nurse. In order to develop my own personal skills I have developed a personal and
professional development plan, which reveals the goals and objectives that I wish to achieve in
my nursing practices.
