INTRODUCTION
Personal and professional development can be defined as the overall development in a
person in which the person chooses about it professional fields and carry on its career path to be
successful in a life (Williams, Woolliams and Spiro, 2020). Therefore, the following discussion
is based on the reflective cycle which describes each and every stage that is used to formulate the
report and to choose the career path along with the strengths and weaknesses of a person with the
help of challenges and solutions to them. Evidence with examples are also covered with real life
illustrations so that it can be reliable and relevant. Plan with objectives to hone such skills are
also covered in the report for better examination of the skills which is gained to formulate the
report with proper findings and conclusion.

MAIN BODY
Gibbs Reflective Cycle
Reflective cycle is used in order to represents the formulation of the person and
professional development report is Gibbs reflective cycle. It contains five stages which helps to
prepare the reflection of personal and professional development so that it can be evaluated well
in an effective manner. First stage is the description which means that description about the
report in which I have chosen the human resource Department as my career field because I am in
a keen interest to manage the people in an organisation with different skills and strategies so that
employee management can be efficient in the company. Second stage is the feelings which
means that what all I have prepared in the report in order to choose my career path such as I have
examined my given field of career profession, I have examined and analysed my career path, I
have formulated the graph to demonstrate the career path, I have value weighted the strength and
attached with full career path and moreover I have demonstrated the possible challenges to
overcome into transformation of strength (Sweet, Bass, Sidebotham and Graham, 2019). Third
stage is the evaluation in which it describes that what I have evaluated after formulation of the
report is that I have evaluated some skills of employability and study which are communication
skills including verbal and written, research skills, the use of internet Communication
Technology skills, teamwork and networking skills, time and self-management and problem
solving skills. All such skills I have evaluated at the time of formulation of the report of personal
and professional development so that it can be used in my practical life as well along with the
student life. Fourth stage is the conclusion meat from my formulation of report is that I have
concluded that I have made the career path in which I have to follow with all my practical skills
so that it can be e strict in nature and can be e routinely done as per my need and requirements of
the professional field that is Human Resource Management. Fifth stage is the action taken is that
I have decided to prepare some goals for my career path and acting on them with my willingness
to perform such as presentation skills and pronunciation skills along with the time management
skills and Microsoft Excel skills with the help of interpersonal skills and critical thinking skills
and moreover the data analysis skills. Personal and professional development report covers all
such areas along with the time scale and outcome which can help me in my career path and
attaining the targets which I Aspire for.

Evidence with examples
I have achieved the skills of employability and study in the formulation of personal and
professional development report such as achievement of communication skills verbal and written
is achieved when I was writing the report that helped me that how can I create the content and
present it in an effective manner so that it can be represented with creativity and hence I have
achieved the communication skills (Launer, 2018). I have achieved the research skills because
researching about the professional field is not easy on the Internet and therefore I use the books
and journals and the internet sources as well to research about the professional field and how can
I make the career path to achieve my professional field as a human resource management and
uses various websites and books together the information about human resource management
and what is needed in an organisation to be a good human resource manager. I have achieved the
teamwork and networking skills as I have communicated various people about this and the
recommendations and suggestions about my professional field I have to go in and therefore It
helped me in gaining the teamwork and networking skills with other people and more over a
verbal communication skill is also improve along with this. I have also achieved the time and
self-management skills because I was not knowing that what I have to do in the future and how it
can be obtained and therefore after formulation of the personal and professional development
report now I know that how can I follow my career path on a timely basis and how can I manage
myself to achieve my target as a human resource manager (Mandalaki, 2021). The last is the
problem solving skills which I have achieved by identifying all the challenges that I can face in
my career path to follow and how can I resolve those challenges comes in the problem solving
skills so I have mentioned all the solutions that I can used against my challenges and moreover I
can use my strengths to perform so.
Plan with objectives to hone such skills
It is important to improve the skills for the future making and for the employability and
study skills to get furnished in the career development and can be used in a practical and
professional life as well. Therefore, communication skills can be improved by choosing
randomly any topic every day and speaking on it and writing on it in a good language and this
practice can help me in furnishing the communication skills professionally. To furnish the
research skills it is important to browse everyday on the topic which is of my interest and read on
the topic and game the relevant knowledge about it so that my research skills can be improved on

networking skills it is important to communicate different people on different topics so that
networking can be improved and it is important to participate in the teamwork challenges for the
Furnishing of teamwork skills. To improve the time and self-management skills is important to
make the strict schedule and routine to follow up so that self-management could take place and
time management as well. To improve the problem solving skills it is important to solve the
quantitative and qualitative problem along with the aptitude tests show that the mind can become
calculative and analytical because it helps in better decision making in the future.
CONCLUSION
It is concluded that it is important to understand the skills gain and how to use those skills in
the Real World organizations in the career path and for the career development as well.
Therefore, reflection is necessary that how the report is formulated and what is gained after
formulation of that report so that it can help in the future making. Therefore, it is important to
analyze the reflective cycle with each and every stage required to formulate the report, it is
necessary to examine the evidence with examples so that better demonstration can be taken out
from the report and it is essential and significant to determine the plan with objectives to phone
the skills which has gained in the formulation of the report. Hence this report covers all such
areas in order to better understand the conceptualization of professional and personal
development.
