Task One:
Definition of the concept of personal and professional development
Personal development is the process of enhancing one's abilities, capacities,
and knowledge in order to raise one's level of life. It aids in the attainment of desired
objectives as well as professional growth, which includes education, job prospects,
and other elements (Tattum and Tattum, 2017). As a consequence, you'll be able to
live a happier and more fulfilling life.
Professional development, on the contrary, improves the competence of
required skills and information for job success. It also focuses on the improvements
that are required to achieve the desired results (Aliu, Aigbavboa and Thwala, 2021).
As a result, these advancements result in long-term performance.
Description and discussion of the value of short term goals
identifying at least 3 personal examples
Setting a goal is an important first step in accomplishing your aims. Goals that
last shorter than a year are considered short-term (Almeida and Morais, 2021).
These goals promote morale and competitive spirit, making it easier to fulfill long-
term goals. A few of them are listed below.
ï‚· Having interpersonal skills
ï‚· Having time management abilities
ï‚· The ability to cope with stress and job pressure
Description and discussion of the value of medium term goals
identifying at least 3 personal examples
All goals that must be completed during the next 18 months to three years are
considered medium-term objectives (Shagri, 2017). These objectives must be
evaluated on a regular basis to ensure that they are of excellent quality; otherwise,
they will lead to discontent and failure to meet personal objectives. The following are
some of these topics.
ï‚· Developing abilities in corporate management
ï‚· Developing a successful legal career
ï‚· When planning to start a business, it's effective.

Long-term goals are those that a person sincerely want to achieve in the future. It
helps in the creation of short-term future plans. These goals are usually required as
part of the professional development process (Smith and Lewis, 2017). Here are
some examples of long-term objectives: -
ï‚· Strengthening leadership styles and abilities
ï‚· Getting a degree
ï‚· Setting aside sufficient funds for the future

Plan and construction of an example using my goals
The Personal Development Plan shows how a person might enhance their
future performance by engaging in worthwhile activities (Helmchen and Melo-Pfeifer,
2018). It is also easier to carry out last-minute ideas thanks to the approach. PDP
additionally broadens people's competency while also helps them with self-
evaluation. The most effective PDPs are listed here.

Task Two:
Description and discussion of how ‘Author, Purpose, Reliability
and Relevance’ affect the use of a source
When sources are authentic and can be trusted, they provide the cornerstone
of academic research (Tarrant, 2018). The research's trustworthiness is reflected in
these sources. The CRAAP test is being used to establish the researcher's
