INTRODUCTION
Current business environment is changing regularly which requires that individual has to
develop their personal and professional skill which for performing in changing business
environment and achieving objectives in current time. These skills includes critical thinking,
problem solving, and many other are personal skills which are requires to be developed by
manager. These skills are required to perform in dynamic business environment as these are
helpful in achieving business functions and managing employee performance. In relation to
development of these skills, individual has to perform in cooperative way withing its student life
so that it can observer and perform different function in relation to development of these skills
and abilities. In context of p[resent report, this report is divided in two parts. In first part,
communication and types of communication are discussed. Along with this, there us discussion
about these communication methods and how these are implemented at work place. It also
consist reflection amount use of communication and work and various factors which are
involved in it. In context of second part, there is discussion about concept of negotiations. Under
this, there are various factors such as types of Negotiation, and reflection about past experience
in negotiation, Reflection on involvement in class activity in context of negotiation, kills to
develop to influence the behaviors of others in the work place and many other. These all are
covered in this report in form of refection so that an individual can understand concept of
negotiation and other function in rela6tion to changing business environment.

for transfer of information.
All these are effective system which are use in relation to completing my classes and
developing my communication skills ( Mishra and Mishra, 2020). Communication is very useful
skill as when I was performing may class activity I use to communicate with different students
and teachers for cross questions and other activity. In my condition, I use to communicates in
both verbal and non verbal way of communication. While I was performing my function In class
activity I use to play number of roles which helps me performing functions in effective way and
developing my skills. For instance, there is an incident when I am performing my group
presentation on project assigned to my team. I identified that we have to present that respective
representation on a particular topic given by teacher. At that time, I got the chance to show and
shape my communication skills. There are number of other occasions where I use to show my
communication skills in class, where I use to communicate with call teachers while using cross
questions with teacher for subject related quarry.
When I was in class, both means of communication are use by individuals working in
class activities. Under this functions, I use to perform activities which will help me in
communication with all other individual. There non verbal mode of communication is use at

am an Assertive communicator where I use top communicate information in Assertive way so

have to teach each and every individual and manager discipline in organization. This make it
more effective to achieve business objectives and manage my skills to function in more effective

My Communication skills are also impacting on behavior of others in workplace as different

I also experienced that there are some barriers to effective communication which are
Conflicts in the Workplace cultural difference and many other which are impacting
communication in direct manager. When I was performing my class activity I observed that
conflicts in team is major factor which acts as an barrier. This is because, due to some personal
reasons my to friends are not talking to each other which also impacted on supply of information
as they delay information because to personal conflicts. In relation to me, the most impact full
barriers which impacted on me is cultural difference with my french teacher. For minimizing this
I use to learn french language and communicated with her. Emotional intelligence can be define
as ability which is use by manger in relation to manager there emotional in organization for
taking effective decision so that they can relive there stress and can p[perform in effective
manner. Under this function. I also use it to manage my stress factors which are related to
pressure of work while performing in organization. It can be seen from past experience that this
is helpful in good behavior of manager at workplace, as this allow manager in performing with
positive energy and using functions in effective way. This is my personal reflection that

two or more parties are involved. Under this they negotiate for some common interest on
particular item to make a effective contract. Negotiation is an interaction and process between
entities who compromise to agree on matters of mutual interest, while optimizing their individual
utility (Gunia, Brett and Gelfand, 2016). There are different type of negotiations some such as
Distributive and integrative. In context of Distributive, it is that kind of negotiation where there
is situation that one party will win and one party will lose . This impact on performer of all
parties which are involved in function of organization and will lead to loses for other party. On
the other side, integrative negotiation is that kind of negotiations which help both party in
achieving win win situation. This is helpful for both parties as they can performance function in
here way. In my experience, I also faces both of these situation of negotiation at workplace.
When I was performing as student at workplace, I face many kind of difficulties in negotiation. I
identified that my negotiation skills are not effective. This is because when I was giving
interview to internal examiner. I identified that I am unable to negotiate on some terns which are
used by examiner in wrong way (Dintzis, 2016). Here, it is also identified that I use to be save at
the time of negotiation which impact negatively on me and demotivate at time of my
performance.
In relation to this, I used various progresses which help me in developing skills which are
related to function of firm. Here, Don't be afraid to ask for what you want, Shut up and listen
instruction and information in correct and appropriate way, do my homework in complete and
performed manner. These are some methods which I use to perform for improving my
negotiation skills. In context of this, don't be afraid to ask for what you want it helps me also as
there are number of situation in class where I have to negotiate with teachers for rating there
performer I always use to ask every doubt so that I can understand topic in clear manner and can
make effective judgments. In content to negotiating with other person I always use an proper
system which includes number of skills which are important to be involved in this process.
