INTRODUCTION
A skill is the quality or ability learned to perform an action with determined results with
best implementation on a specified time, energy or it may sometimes both. Sometimes skills may
be considered as a natural talent which can be seen in any person (Tannehill, and et. al., 2021)
Skills are important in every sector might be in academics, professional etc. Gibbs Reflective
was made by Graham Gibbs in 1988. the motive of this model was to give a proper form to
learning from experiences. On other hand Gibbs' Reflective Cycle also play a important role as it
is the famous cyclical models of reflection leads through six stages like description, feelings,
evaluation, analysis, conclusion and action plan.
TASK
Skills Development
The process of identify the skill gaps, and the development of and honing of these skills.
While achieving the goals skills play the role of tools. As skills determines the ability for
executing the plans with success. Students who are studying in higher classes having different
types of skills is must. Skills might be of different types in different mind of every student as it is
natural. Skills are defined in different modes according to the Gibbs reflection cycle.
Description - This point includes how a student or any person get to know if he is given any
type of task or project what he will going to do in that project, what type of strategies he will
going to apply and many more (Sherwood, and et. al., 2021). This experience may be applicable
in personal or processional life. Is he has to go alone through a given project or has to lead a
team or might be a part of team. As I was a bright student and having good leadership skills. Our
authorities made me monitor and i was appointed as a group leader. The project was given to my
team was on Great depression. I divided my team in different small teams and said them to
collect good resources to complete the project. As I thought it will be easy to do that project and
our team will complete it on time given as deadline. But when we started to write our ideas were
not matching as the need was it should be in a perfect form. As time was just leaving and three of
our group member just left that, but it was a challenge for me and I have to complete that topic as
I was leading the group. Any how I finished it up.

Feelings - In this model explanation regarding the feelings during the situation is given. What
does a group member feels during the project, what other feels about the team and many more
things happen regarding the topic given (Ab Rashid, 2018). As its also important model which
plays a main role. Feeling are the leanings and they set a example for the person what to do in
any situation if there is no helping hand. Before making a team the project given to us seems like
its a big burden what we will do on that basis, and after we divided our work and it become
easier for every one to complete it the feeling was quite good. In this whole process I got to learn
what type of feelings do we have when we are not able to our given work and how does it feels
when we feel after completion of work. When some members of our team just left that project I
felt guilty that time as I was the leading the team and all the team members are dependent on me.
This feeling gave me boost to work harder and faster (Davies, 2019). Over all I was satisfied as
we took part in the project and got to learn lot of things.
Evaluation – In this process we are going to learn about what things are working accordingly
and what are not working according us in the situation we are, by this we can evaluate them. This
determines both positive and negative points of the situation even it was primary one or the
other. And what ever there efforts of team members in the given project are they were doing that
hard work as the time needed. As in my given projects things were going good and team also
worked well as we all done a good job as the need of that project , but on other side the where
some members left us they motivated us in doing that work and the thing which affected us was
the same topic which so many members of group took. And overall it comes to fail as we have to
do that project again.
Analysis – the analysis step helps in finding why the things go well, why did not everything is
going well, what senses can I make of the situation, what type of knowledge of mine or other can
be applicable for the given project (Dixon, 2021). On my personal prospectus as the work which
we decided to do was going well as it was the choice of all of us and the topic was chosen by us
only. We divided it accordingly and done that project. As I was leading the team it was my duty
to take every step before and by showing my strength and strategies I just lead my team to do
well and it worked.
Action plan – action plan defines that what a person can do something different in a similar
situation (Scheidegger, 2020). It helps in not only doing the work but also helps in how can a
person make sure it will go right only. When I will work next time with a group, will defiantly

discuss to them about strength they have this will help is in doing the work and easy to cordinate
with them. And if we decide to divide our work then I insist them to do the work in proper co-
ordination. If I have any concern, will tell the group directly. Sometimes it may be not liked by
the group members but I will mange .
CONCLUSION
As explained above skills are natural qualities which a person have from birth itself and
some of get them by the experiences. In development of a personal or professional skills play a
huge role. The models which are mentioned above are also applicable in the life. By those given
model it was defined how can we mange and identify the team problems or a single person can
mange if he get some difficulties regarding the academics or profession.
