INTRODUCTION
Quality is the characteristic of a person which makes them distinct and different from
other people and demonstrates how good or bad the person is as compared to other people
(Hildebrand, 2018). The quality of person forms their personality which helps them in their
personal and professional development as these are the key features which are analysed by an
employer before appointing a person for a job vacancy. Personal qualities are inbuilt features of
person like honesty, open-mindedness, willingness to work hard which are not acquired whereas
some other qualities like academic qualification, communication skills etc. are acquired by a
person during different stages of their life. In this report the quality of a person who has an INTJ
kind of a personality type will be discussed with main focus on the ability of a person to form
better plans so that task at hand can be finished in an analytical and logical manner. Theories
related to planning and the attributes, behavioural preferences and values which underpin this
strength will be discussed. Further challenges faced by a person with this quality and the benefits
in future will be discussed.
MAIN BODY
Definition and description of quality
While working on various workshops I find out that I am good in making effective plans
as it was viewed at a time of workshop planning. As I have INJT kind of personality, on the basis
of this I am introvert, intuitive, thinking and judging. For personal relationship, INJT kind of
people personality are more willing to devote their time and energy in order to make successful
relations. According to this personality I have huge expectations and hold myself to the best and
highest possible standards. I analysed that planning is a process of thinking which helped me in
developing appropriate strategies and practices in order to attain the goals and objectives of my
workshop. As it helped me in thinking how to accomplished tasks before trying to start it and I
make a detailed list along with the remain focused on my priorities which are required for the
effective management of time in order to perform activities.
I found that planning has been essential for me while I was thinking to start a workshop
as it helped me to analysed current situation in order to identify several ways through which I
will be able to attending the desired position in future. It gave consistency and flexibility while
conducting workshop and completed in an effective manner. As planning gives more control

over several activities as if I create appropriate plan then I get to take decisions and various
choices. I have to know about the importance of planning with which I can get strength for
preparing my own plans related to personal as well as professional development. So after all, I
found that the proactive planning or effective planning considered to be the most significant
personal quality. Through the implementation of Synoptic planning theory, I felt that my own
planning is conscious, broad and rational efforts through which I formulate goals and objectives
for workshops, seminars etc. activities and the oversees its implementation as well as measures
their progress while making some adjustments or alterations in decisions due to the occurrence of
some situation.
Explanation and evaluation of quality. In what ways is the quality a strength for you? Where this
quality has been displayed?
As per my strength I has been viewed that I was able to conduct workshop in an effective
manner as I used to make plans for all activity which helped in accomplishing valuable results.
While I conducting a workshop I structured my entire plan by including topic, audience, size,
time, activities and so many things. Through the implementation of Synoptic planning theory, I
was able to plan all these things which means that I figured out that what I actually want to do in
order to guide all participants through the experience as well as what I hope that they will learn
from it. As this theory gave me a means of understanding about the contemporary issues as well
as concerns. I am introverted in nature so I took all my decisions independently for which this
theory helped me a lot in making plans and scheduling activities as per the requirements.
As the planning is to be considered as my strength because it helped or will help in
arranging meetings as well as setting up various conferences. It is my strength because of that I
am habitual to plan all thinks in advance in order to complete tasks in an effective way which
helps in analysing the challenges and consequences of all exercises which I want to be performed
in future. For example, The planning has been displayed at a time of conducting workshop as I
planned in detailed about my workshop activities in which I include a clear objective, decide our
audience, schedule for workshop timing, ways to publicise, hire a team of 8-10 participants and
prepare them for this, prioritise goals, make paper notes as well as presentation or audio-material
and so many things has been considered. Through this planning quality or strength we have done
a group presentation related to a business plan which was the best idea and presentation as well
and we got first place in it. So I considered that planning is my most effective strength or quality

My strength is that I have a good ability of formulating effective plans which I design by
evaluating all the consequences related to actions which would occur after the implementation of
plan. I am effectively able to make good plans through the logical and analytical skills that I
possess which help me in carrying out my work in a planned and step-by-step process so that all
the areas of the project are considered which help in executing the plan in an efficient manner.
The attributes which help me in making effective plans are that I am a good listener which help
me to have a broad idea about what is the demand of person and how it can be solved. Along
with this I enjoy all the theoretical and abstract concepts which means that I gain an in-depth
understanding about each concept which help me to analyse the concept in detail so that an
efficient plan can be formulated.
Behavioural preferences are related to the preference in behaviour executed by a person
and I have a INTJ kind of a personality which means that I generally prefer to work in isolation
so that I can focus and concentrate on the information. This help me in emphasising on the
logical and objective information rather than on details which are important to find out the main
idea of the project. This help me in analysing in detail the requirements and synthesising a plan
using synoptic planning theory so that an effective plan can be formulated. The values which
further strengthen my quality are that I take responsibility and I am hard working which allow
me to deal with all situations efficiently. These values help me in the process of making plans as
I put my hard work in completing the work on time and if I take wrong decisions during making
a plan I take responsibility of the wrong decisions which help me in taking criticism positively
which is important to enhance the abilities of a person.
Difficulty or challenging in workshop exercises & the experiences and why might this be?
I faced lots of challenges and difficulties at the time of workshop exercise. Despite of
having a proper plan and presentation, some problems are arise at time of workshop. The
challenges includes compromised of new brilliant ideas by the person. As each participants has it
own vision from which they can bring innovation so the smashing of different ideas occur in the
workshop. I faced lots of conflicts that arise at the time of presentation, as some people have
different opinions about the workshop. So it made difficult to handle people with such strong

opinion as they are hard believer about their views. Some of the people have illustration ideas in
which they does not have any planning structure from which the difficulties arise in presenting
the knowledge about the workshop. I have experienced challenges of great ideas that are ignored
by another idea which is more powerfully communicated among individual. I have planned the
proper ideas about workshop but due to presence of shortage of time, it was difficulty for me to
share my ideas among the individual properly. In given time, the participants found difficulties in
understanding the main objective of the workshop. As I have planned a proper idea which can
increase the knowledge of participants but due to time shortage, the knowledge does not deliver
to them appropriately. This problems arise due to the lack of time in which lots of information
was not deliver. I can solve this difficulties by communicating with senior members about the
time issues and to provide the appropriate time period so that I can deliver best to the
participants. From the organiser, lack of resources occur which develop the dissatisfaction of
participants to the workshop. So it become difficult for me to handle the participants.
The synoptic planning theory helps in rational planning in order to achieve the goals of
the organisation. With the help of this theory, the progress can be measure by making adjustment
of changes in the surroundings to formulate the goals of organisation. Yes, this theory helps me
in solving the challenges at the same time that arise in the workshop. This theory gave me the
idea to formulate some changes in the environment so that the goals of workshop can be
achieved. With the help of this theory, I made required changes such as providing the efficient
resources on time so that participants can engage in the workshop and can take participate in
activities. This theory also helps me in determining ideas of each participants so that conflicts
does not arises.
Contradiction evident from experience and how might these be explained?
Though I am good at making plans and also my teachers agree with my quality
sometimes I fail to formulate good plans which is against my general character and also
contradicts my quality. I faced certain situations during the workshops and in my past
experiences where there were contradictory events and my plans were not as effective as I had
thought they would be. During the workshop although the overall plan made by me was efficient
which helped us in completing the workshop on time and acquire first prize however, at some
stages my plan did not come out in the way I had thought. While making a plan to acquire the
resources along with the sources from which they can be acquired there was a lack of sufficient

time and funds which made it difficult to execute the plan exactly as designed by me. Due to the
shortage of funds and time I was unable to determine the sources from where resources can be
acquired which are low in cost and high in value. This impacted the procurement stage and
contradicted my general ability of making effective plans. This is an evidence where I was
unable to correctly utilize my skills and time allocation in acquiring resources from each source
was insufficiently judged by me.
Apart from the workshop I have also faced contradictions in some other past experiences
where I was unable to correctly formulate a plan and which affected the overall result. I face this
problem when I have limited time and the task that is to be managed is huge which affects my
ability to make effective plans. During exam time when there is a shortage of time and all the
subjects are to be managed as per the time table I find it difficult to make a good plan to cover
every portion of each subject which contradicts my general ability to form efficient plans.
Though I score good marks in all the subjects it becomes difficult at exam time to make an
efficient plan so that all the subjects can be covered on time.
How might this quality benefit you in future?
Apart from the contradictory situations I have an ability of formulating good and
effective plans which help in completing the task at hand on time and in an efficient manner.
This quality will help me in my future personal and professional development as this can help me
in getting jobs in my desired organisation so that I can grow in my career which will help me in
leading a happy life ahead. Also with this quality I can get admission in university for further
studies which will help in gaining academic knowledge which is very important in today's
scenario to grow and develop in my academic life. Apart from this I can choose project planner
as my career option and can either work in a renowned organisation or can open my own
company which will enhance my career and also will give an opportunity to utilise my skills so
that they can become more sharp and developed with time and practice. Planning is an important
step before completing a project in an efficient manner as it helps in identifying the stages that
will occur from the start to finish of a project. Also it will give a detailed idea about the resources
and time which will be required to complete each and every stage of the project. Effective plan is
an essential step in completing a project in an efficient manner so that desired results can be
achieved. Thus this quality is important in enhancing my career options and grow personally and
professionally.

CONCLUSION
From the above report it can be concluded that the quality of a person is an inbuilt
character which help them in achieving the goals and targets set by them in an efficient manner
than others. Quality of a person determines the kind of personality which will be exhibited by the
person which will help them in growing personally and professionally in their life which is
important for their overall development. Qualities must be analysed so that they can be enhanced
which will help in making a better person and also acquiring growth opportunities in future.
