1.1 An outline of areas of business I am interested in
The areas of business in which I am interested are marketing, technology and
human resource. These areas are the growing areas. Marketing department will help
company to increase their sales because they will directly deal with the customers. I
realized that demand of individuals who are having marketing skills and knowledge are
more in the market because company want to get more sales. Human resource is one
of the vital department. As this department only hire candidates for all the departments
in the organization. HR require skills so that they can find out right candidate for the
right position. HR should be soft spoken and should have good communication skills.
Technology is also my area of interest.
As I realized that this era is of technology so company's are also adopting advanced
technology in order to survive in the market for longer time and also to increase its

market share. If an individual have good knowledge of technology then he or she can
build good career into that because with the time the demand of technology is regularly
increasing and modern organizations require such candidates which have technology
understanding and skill set. I have decided that while pursuing my degree I will focus
majorly on these three areas so that after my graduation I can apply job within these
areas, as these are growing areas so will definitely have more job vacancy. I will also
work hard and try to get good grades especially in these three areas so that I can get
good job.

skills and knowledge. moreover, this might be also important in knowing for which the business can
affected and easily come to know about those things which could me for having the organization placed.
human resources skills can led for having the career option in which I come to know about the various
policies and practice in which the organization can work. in having the technology interested I can easily
come know about the various machine and features in I can work and make sure the organization for
working with more technology skills. marketing skills must be important in which I can easily make the
effective goals and objective. along with the organization can also help for the customer in fulfilling their
requirements. work based learning might be more important through I have learned many things and
which might be important fro me in knowing about those things which took important things. the

by the student wishing to take up an offer of a WBL placement, in the form of a mini-

Students are expected to gain approval / sign-off for their ToR from a relevant member
