1.0 Self-reflection on personal learning and
development, and the transferable skills
It is very important for me to focus on the various learning aspect in
order to develop my self in such a way that can help me in my career.
The personal learning and development motivates an individual to
perform better within the academics. The personal learning involves the
use of the various strategies which can help in developing the skills in
order to be effective learner. As very individual requires the proper
growth and development which can help in building a career path it
is very important for me to develop various skills in order to be an
effective manager in future organization. (Liedtka, J., Hold, K. and
Eldridge, J., 2021)
1.1 Identification and reflection on my approach to personal
learning and development
there were various approaches which helped me a lot in learning the skills
which are required to be an effective marketing manager. The importance of the
learning in an academic helps an individual to develop for their career winch will
motivate to become successful. I was able to identify the various sources which can
help me in my learning process. Also during the classroom listening I was able to
develop the skills which are needed to be an effective marketing manager in future.
As my specialization in the business management it is very important for me to
develop various approaches which can make me effective in order to listen to the
customers and identify various problems in order t find solutions for it. The
approaches such as self assessment has helped me a lot in my learning procedures
which also increased by capacity to grab the knowledge and information in an
effective way. (Charlton,2018)
1.2 Identification of the transferable skills I have already developed
by attending this module
There are various skills which I have already able to develop
during this module is as follows:
Listening skills- This was the skills which I was able to develop
during this module because in order to have a brief understanding of the
topic (Gomes, and Brasileiro,, 2018)it is very important for me to
understand and listen to the instructions of professor in an effective
manner. I was able to improve on my listening skills because as it is very
important for me in being a marketing manager that I am able to listen to

the employees in an effective and efficient manner in order to
understand their view points.
Information technology- This is the another most important skill
which I was able to develop during this module. The information
technology skill is related to the various technical terms which I should
be able to understand in order to perform the various task in an effective
and efficient manner. From this skill I was able to perform and keep
record of my notes in a more appropriate way. the information
technology skill also helped me a lot in understanding the excel and the
use of the internet in an effective manner. I was able to learn the use of
computer to gain more competitive advantage. By attending the various
test online I was able to develop my information technology skill and how
can technology save time in performing the different functions. (Liu, Ji,
Zhang, and Yang,, 2020).
1.3 Skills I would like to develop during my academic studies,
personal life and the workplace
There are various skills which I would like to develop during my academic
studies, personal life and the workplace are as follows:
 communication skill- This is the most important skill which I need to develop
in order to be an effective marketing manager in future. As I am completed by
studies in marketing and finance, and I am looking for career in marketing
field where the communication is the most important elements which meed to
be developed in order to be an effective marketing manager. I need to be
more focus on communication skills so that I am able to understand the view
points of the customers and understand what are their requirements and how
they can be satisfied. It is very important for me to develop communication
skills as this will help in my career by building a good relationship with my
subordinates, team members and customers.
 Analytical and research skills- it is identified that in order to be an effective
manager it is very important to have analytical and research skills. It is very
important for me to develop this skill for my future growth and development in
my professional life. As if I am able to solve problems in my workplace I can
have an extra benefits and I will be ale to develop good image in front of my
superiors. This is the skills which I need to develop during my studies which
can enhance on my learning and I will able to solve problems effectively.
Also , in order to find career in marketing filed it is very important for me to
develop research skills so that I am able to find the various information which
is related to the customers demand. (Raschka, and Mirjalili, 2019).
