WHY ARE YOU APPLYING FOR YOUR CHOSEN COURSE?
I am applying for the course of adult nursing because as per my understanding it is one of
the most altruistic professions in the area of nursing. I also wish to work in a dynamic,
challenging as well as incredible varied environment. Hence the present course can help me in
attaining a challenging career which may aid in my personal growth as well as professional
development (Park and et.al., 2008).
WHY DOES THIS SUBJECT INTEREST YOU?
This subject interests me because through this area, I can get a chance to work in adult
nursing areas that are spread over medical as well as surgical wards. I can further get a chance to
work in specialist units like Accident and emergency care units. The units can give me a chance
to interact with adult patients (McArthur-Rouse, 2008). I can play a key role to heal there
suffering.
WHY DO YOU THINK YOU’RE SUITABLE FOR THE COURSE IN TERMS OF
SKILL SE T AND EXPERIENCE?
I feel myself to be suitable for the course as I possess the skill of personal an
interpersonal communication so as to create therapeutic relationship with the patient (Course
details, 2015). Also my existence may further add to the overall suitability of the course. In this
regard, I have got a job experience related to working as a health care assistant in UK based NHS
for the past ten years. Moreover I have further got an education of level 3 health and social care.
Hence I find myself suitable to be a part of the course.
DO YOUR CURRENT OR PREVIOUS STUDIES RELATE TO THE COURSE(S) THAT
YOU HAVE CHOSEN? IF SO, HOW?
I have recently done my level 3 health and social course. The course has made me an
expert in varied areas especially related to Supporting and protecting adults as well as dementia
care that is a major issue in adults.

HAVE YOU TAKEN PART IN ANY OTHER ACTIVITIES THAT DEMONSTRATE
YOUR INTEREST IN THE COURSE(S)?
I possess the skill set of being compassionate with my patients. I also have a lot of
patience followed by the ability to remain calm even when I am in huge pressure. I further
possess mental stamina as well. All these qualities make me become eligible for the course.
MAKE A LIST OF YOUR HOBBIES, INTERESTS AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES
REQUIRED FOR YOUR COURSE(S).
I have been working with many old age homes and have voluntarily worked as a nurse
so as to support them.
HOW DOES THE COURSE RELATE TO WHAT YOU WANT TO DO IN THE
FUTURE?
I am sure to use the knowledge and experience gained by me throughout the course in the
best possible manner. I can use it to get myself associated with the emergency and dementia
specialists units where I may get a chance to work with adult patients (McCallum, 2007). In the
long run I may open my own clinic so as to aid towards reducing the overall suffering of my
patients.
