PESONAL STATEMENT
Health and social care sector is the field of my interest as I have been working for NHS
hospital as a theater support that is working from last 9 years. I have become increasingly aware
about the complex issues that are faced by the hospital staff while treating/operating a patient. I
have realized the progress and success that I enjoyed in the frontiers of medicine and health care
sector through effectively participating and adopting rightful communication measures with
patients and my peers.
My desire to participate in problem solving measures and expanding my capacity to deal
with the complex issues in health care frontiers has inspired me to seek a degree in medical field.
I intend to complete 'BSC (Hons) Operating Department Practitioner' program to successfully
attain a degree in the medical field. I have no history of any medical related qualification. My
work profile has helped me in developing a keen interest for health care field. I completed my
MBA and joined NHS unit to develop my networking and problem solving skills.
I have been successfully performing the role of theater support staff from a due course of
time. This profile helped me in developing my understanding and skills to deal with the patients
that are undergoing with surgeries. Moreover, I am well versed with the surgical technologies
and equipment which are used by the professionals and medical staff. I am applying for the
degree to enhance my technical and professional skills in the field and to increase my
employability skills for the same. The degree will improve my knowledge and will develop my
growth prospects in HSC sector. I have been understanding and working with the procedures
from a long period of time.
I gained a deep appreciation of what people in need of these services are experiencing
and also have developed a great respect for the professionals of the field. I desire to produce a
supportive, positive and needful impact on the lives of people by gaining professional degree in
the field. I am accustomed to the time management and team building initiatives. My experience
as theater supportive staff will help me in succeeding for the degree. My current proficiency in
the field along with my problem-solving and dynamic learning skills will help in becoming a
successful candidate for the subject. I have created effective networks while performing my job
which has created wide success and development measures for me.
I have been expressing my dedication and support in health care sector by working in
NHS hospital for 9 years. My effective performance in hospital has influenced the management

of the organization in supporting my academic studies. The entity is readily available to second
me for my degree and will sponsor my studies on being selected in the university. My current
professional contacts reveal the same. This support reflects my dedication, performance and
