PERSONAL STATEMENT
In modern world, it is been argued by multiple people that significance of theoretical
knowledge is reducing as students are emphasising towards gaining practical experience through
internships as well as starting working in companies in their young age. However, the thinking is
not adequate as without theoretical knowledge, no one can gain success in career growth. I have
keen interest in business management as it is the discipline that is devotes towards organising,
analysing together with planning multiple kinds of business operations. It is degree program that
teaches fundamental skills which are needed to manage and run an enterprise in effective
manner. I have planned to study business management from XYZ University which is one of top
college across in UK and provides equal values to theoretical addition to practical knowledge
while teaching students. The university also allows students to take participate in various
personality development courses and develop students in creative and innovative manner. I think
the course is significant for me as I have keen interest in working at well settled organisation or
establishing a start-up company. With the course of business management, I will learn about
leadership, management, corporate strategies and many other topics which will help me in
managing the entity in smooth manner.
XYZ University was always my first consideration as the level and quality of education
that it provides to learners is out of the world. The university teaches those students who have
competence to use the knowledge in their future. For testing knowledge of student, it also
conducts its own entrance exam. I am studying hard to crack its entrance examination and gain
admission in the institution. Moreover, I also like to study topics such as managing change,
nurturing organisation structure and climate, innovation, resource management, sustainable
development, corporate responsibility and ethics as these are emerging trends in business
management. I have knowledge about all these topics and I think the university will assist me to
develop my critical thinking skills, problem solving skills, analytical skills and other abilities
which are key to manage a business or work at top positions in an organisation.
Business management course will also guide me in conducting research and learning
from professional as well as experienced faculty in the institution. Managing a business or
working at top position is not easy activity, however, if an individual have ability and passion top
learn about distinct subjects then they are able to handle possible risks in easy and convenient
manner. I want to improve my business skills and grab opportunity to work in large multinational

company that will strengthen my career and will take me to new world. After gaining some
experience in business field, I will establish my own business and hope to run it successfully
through the theoretical knowledge and practical experience that I will attain from the university
and working in company. As a citizen, it is my key responsibility to improve situations of society
and through my business, I will try to resolve environmental, social and economic issues in
maximum possible numbers.
